Well designed and sturdy
Very well designed tent. Set up straightforward, bigger than expected, and very sturdy (has held up really well during strong winds in the Scottish Highlands). Also nice to have the covered porch extension during calmer/warmer weather. Great value.

Good tent but the poles don't attach to the fly sheet.
Good tent and performs well but I didn't realise before getting it out and setting up the first time that the poles go on the inner not the fly sheet which is a big no no for me.Much better to set up the inner last and take it down first to keep as much of your kit dry as possible if doing setup/takedown in the rain.I had to use the tent anyway as it had arrived just in time for an event and I had no alternative.Other than that is spacious easy to set up and dealt with the heavy rain at the event with aplomb. It also has somewhere to hang a torch/lamp and the lips on the ground sheet to prevent water running into it under the fly is a nice touch.

great tent, east to put up and take down.
I would like to start by saying i have only put this tent up in the garden so far - ive not actually slept in it yet.It was really easy to put up by myself, it didnt take too long, maybe 30-40 mins. I did struggle with getting the porch pole into its bit, ive read some other review about this also. Its a great tent with bags of room, i went for the tent with a larger sleeping compartment and slightly smaller porch ( you can get a coleman tent with a bigger porch, and smaller sleeping compartment but i think it costs more) this one works well for what i want. I had looked into alot of tents and wanted one is easy to put up/down and is offers lots of room for me, my 4 year old twins and two springer spaniels. it is also big enough if my husband wishes to come camping with us, but we dont want to take our huge 8 man tent. it has good head room especially in the sleeping bit.i brought the coleman coastline (i think) footprint groundsheet also. its not a perfect fit. the width is the same but its slightly short, so it doesnt go under a small section of the porch but it does offer an extra layer of protection under the rest of the tent.over all im ver happy with this tent, especially for the price. cant wait to start using it

great tent great price great coleman quality
got this for my daughter and grand kids to coming with us this summer. Very good in size they got a double blow up bed in and comfortably housed four with room for at least five or six. Porch is great with room for table chairs. Good ventilation and robust build. Had a great time at camping and my daughter her partner and my grandsons had great experience and want to go again.

Very impressed!
Amazing value. Way bigger than I expected but that's fine. It would have been handy if an adult could stand up in the entrance/porch section (I'm 5 11) but I can stand up fully in bedroom which is great. Takes about 20 minutes to put up and I can do it on my own easily enough but a second pair of hands makes it easier. I've used it a couple of times and had heavy rain on one trip - it kept the water out and was nice and dry inside. The bedroom can get very warm but the air vents do an ok job. Even goes back in the bag without too much hassle which makes a change!

Odd design, but well built
Its kinda good. But the sleeping compartment is huge, and the entrance is much lower. I want to stand in the entrance (so why not make that bit bigger) and sleep (you know, on the ground, not standing up) in the sleeping bit... so I kinda feel they got the design backwards. Very big and roomy, good quality, hasn't broken yet, tonnes of use.

POSSIBLY NOT GOOD VALUE AT £399
HAVE USED THIS TENT FOR 7 SEASONS SHARING CAMPING TRIPS WITH OUR OTHER TENT A RELUM GIANT PEARL THE COLEMAN IS LIGHT, REASONABLY EASY TO ERECT AND ROOMY THE DOWNSIDE IS THE CONDENSATION FIRST THING IN THE MORNING IT LITERALY RAINS IN THE FRONT SECTION SEVEN YEARS AGO IT COST A FEW PENCE SHORT OF £102.00 WHICH WAS GOOD VALUE NOW COSTING FOUR TIMES AS MUCH I WOULD NOT BUY ANOTHER THIS WILL BE THE LAST YEAR OUR TENT WILL BE SERVICEABLE AS THE LIGHTWEIGHT MATERIAL IS SHOWING SIGNS OF "LADDERING" INCIDENTALLY THE RELUM HAS VERY LITTLE CONDENSATION AND THE CANVAS (COTTON) IS AS GOOD AS NEW AND ITS 30 YEARS OLD!

Great tent, pretty heavy
Bought this for a festival and spent a few nights in it, including under prolonged heavy rain. It's v comfortable to be in, waterproof, and doesn't overheat as fast as smaller tents when the sun comes out. I didn't experience and condensation issues from other reviews, but there were only 2 of using it.The one thing is that it's very heavy to carry around so I wouldn't buy it unless you're pretty strong/have a strong person with you.
