The Sensor worked perfectly!
This crank position sensor was installed on a 2000 Impala 3800 engine. It has been installed for several months now and has been working flawlessly.The engine had issues where it would be a little hard to start. As well, the engine would randomly quit while driving down the road. Replacing the sensor with this new sensor remedied both of those issues. Also, the engine runs noticeably smoother and quieter than before. I have not done any sort of measurement to see if it increased fuel economy.
