Those were for a little boy who had gained a great deal of weight because of steroid treatment for his severe asthma. Overnight he went from a skinny little kid to a very heavy one. Unfortunately they have been unable to reduce the dosage of his medication so he has not been able to lose the extra weight. His self esteem was pummeled and he was teased mercilessly.I can’t tell you how thrilled he was with these “normal kids “ shorts. He is so proud — I ordered several more pairs. Before this I was doing stuff like trying to adjust the elastic waist in grown men’s basketball shorts.I think it’s so important for kids who are overweight for any reason to feel good about themselves. And these are not just “big” shorts — every stitch in them is quality, and they wash like a dream.Little kids shouldn’t be “fat shamed”. Growing up is hard enough. When we see an overweight kid, we shouldn’t make unkind and uninformed assumptions about how they got that way.I am so happy Amazon carries these shorts — I just wish they had a bigger selection in Boys Huskies!

My son has a very small waist and these are great as the waist is adjustable. Good quality. Very happy with this purchase. Comfortable and good quality fabric

True size. The length of the shorts a little long. Works well if you have taller child. Overall good material and pleased with the product.

The media could not be loaded. Building very well. Material is nice and thick and true to size. Lots of pockets for adventurous boys like mine who love collecting rocks and pinecones etc. I LOVE that they have adjustable buttons inside the waistband..especially because my 2 boys are built very opposite in body shape. I bought a size 6 for my 5yr old who's average height but a bit husky(who I have to size up for his waist and they fit great) I bought a size 7 for my 6yr old they are a little big but again the adjustable waist it fits fine they're just maybe a tiny longer than I would normally buy but it doesn't look bad. He is tall and very lean he actually fits into the size 6 I bought for my other son. But I wanted these to fit for next summer as well so they work for me. I'd definitely recommend! I hope this helps out the other Mommas that have a difficult time buying clothes for their kiddos!

Shorts are perfect! It’s hard to find shorts nowadays with length past the knee. These go about 1-2 inches below on my son. Has adjustable waistband 🙌🏽 will be buying them in ALL colors. True to size!

They are a good fit. Durable and color doesn't fade as you wash.
