Balance shaft arrived bent and useless.
Save your money and buy a more expensive brand.Since the main balance shaft arrived very slightly bent, the unit always reports that the prop is unbalanced. This is a manufacturing defect, either with quality control at the factory or poor packaging that let it get damaged in transit.Could tell that the shaft is bent because its readings aren't consistent. There is a discoloration on the shaft, which always settles pointing upwards, regardless of the prop's final orientation. Proves that the imbalance is caused by the shaft not the prop. The bend isn't visible to my eye, but in addition to the above behavior I can hear the bend by rolling the shaft on a very flat surface. The rest of the construction seems adequate. Trying to salvage the situation by buying a replacement shaft from DU-BRO.

Used for balancing a 8" buffing wheel
Yes it worked. The two silicon tubes it uses to keep the centering bits pushed towards each other need to be stronger. That said I was using it to do 20 times what it was designed for. All is forgiven for this small short coming since it worked so good! Look for pic, you can see what I mean about silicone tubing. I used electrical tape cut thin.

Bent balancing shaft
Quality looks like it's built well except for the main shaft that holds the prop for balancing is bent and you can't balance anything properly. They sent the replacement and it also was bent they should consider looking at the quality control

As described
Item as described. Instructions could be improved, there are parts included that are not shown or discussed in the instructions, but the device works fine.

Wobble Not
Balancing you props before you fly is mandatory if you want your RC plane to perform at its best and last a long time. It also improves reliability. At this price the balancer is a no brainer.

Absolute garbage!
The media could not be loaded. It is impossible to balance anything on a bent rotation shaft. Two badly cut pieces of clear vinyl tubing is what's supposed to hold the spring and mounting cones in place on the balance shaft. You can't apply enough pressure on the mounting cones because the tiny piece of vinyl tubing just slides back. This so called "prop balance tool" is actually dangerous and could lead to crashed aircraft and injured bystanders. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen! I pay for Prime mainly to save money on shipping costs. Amazon should automatically allow prime customers to print shipping labels at zero cost for damaged items. However Amazon sucks at some things. Amazon customer service is a sad joke. Endless automated menus beforeyoucanspeak to an actual human customer service agent and customers have to pay to ship damaged products back to Amazon. In my case, I have to drive 12 miles to the nearest drop off location. This poor quality propeller balancer cost about $18 after tax. Driving 12 miles to return this thing isn't worth it. So I get stuck with a piece of junk that doesn't work and Amazon keeps my money. It's time to cancel prime and boycott Amazon!
