I have tried other brands of base and top coat including OPI, but this is the best I have used. I can see a huge difference in the durability and this is hands down my favorite. I originally purchased this brand before the No Wipe formula was available and still had great success with it after 2 years but I did notice after about a year and a half it became thicker and took longer to get the excess wiped off the brush. The older version still dried perfectly and was definitely durable but just took more patience getting a thin coat after about a year and half of use. I ordered Lagunamoon earlier this year and discovered that it just didn't hold up like my first purchase of Modelones. I assumed the lack of durability was related to the new No Wipe formula compared to the Modelones that required the last wipe down, but I was wrong...Modelones gel base and top coat is just better even with the No Wipe formula. Modelones is flexible enough to withstand minor bending without cracking of the gel and durable enough to withstand my gardening without gloves (half the time the dog steals my gloves) without losing the shiney top coat gloss. Beware though it does not hold up to kitchen knives...

I've been getting all kinds of things to do my own nails with. I've always heard good things about modelones from YouTube nail artists so I trusted this option. The base and top coat work great. The bottles are a bit small but should last a while.

I love this base and top gel coat. Base is sticky, and the top is shiny.

I'm a gel polish fanatic. Have been doing my own nails for upwards of 8 years with gel polish. I've used many different base & top coats and this one just didn't hit the mark for me. Top coat got very peely very fast. I don't know that it's for me, nor will continue use with it unless I'm low on my good stuff.
