I love Catana Comics! So sweet!

This was a gift for my partner and she loved it. This is a collection of comics so we knew what we were getting

Me being into Catana's comics is beyond strange to me. You'd think for someone who never has a significant other around, I would find the depiction of her relationship in these books to be grating or something that would provoke a jealous rage within me. As pleasant as such a picture really is (sorry for such a negative mental depiction there, I'm not that far gone nor do I ever want to be, but at the very least I can be self-deprecating about it) I still find these volumes of comics to be very enjoyable - and I don't exactly know why. That said, I do find it very comforting after years of not really having many (if any) books of this nature written by women on my bookshelf, that void has been clearly filled by Catana, Debbie Tung and Sarah Andersen. I guess I kind of see that as some kind of unofficial trifecta of some sorts and do look forward to a new book from them each year. Anyway, again, I can't explain why I like these books, although I think the reason why is clearer with Tung and Andersen's works. Regardless of how curious I've made this review by this point (yeah, "curious," let's go with that....), the series gets a thumbs up from me.

I do feel like catana and john are just like me and my wife. These comics are funny and life affirming. I"m a big fan.

If you’ve read any of the other books this is more of that good stuff. If you haven’t read any of the other books, what are you waiting for? Might as well start with this one.
