All the poor ratings are mainly for the packaging and delivery of the toilet itself, however, the toilet performs great! I’d have to agree with many of the ratings, it’s a bit of “hit or miss” if you’re gonna get an enthusiastic packager that really cares for the condition of the product upon delivery, then all will be great! The item itself is second to none! The Toto Drake’s design does not lane perforations beneath the rim so it’s very easy to clean and keep clean. And WHOA! Lookout, the force of the flush is powerful; keep in mind that with this power will be some elevated sounds, but not much more than regular toilets. I do have one “knock” for the product, you might have to order a separate set of washers and bolts for the tank and bowl. The included bolts are insufficient, they’ll do the job but are lacking rubber washers to seal the bolt joints. Rubber washers are required to ensure a leak free set up. Besides that the toilet is great! I bought several and replaced my entire house with these toilets. Did it myself too, no need to hire a plumber.

The order arrived in two boxes, tank and toilet. The toilet arrive shattered. Toto send out a replacement order (tank and toilet). The replacement also arrive shattered.. Now I have 4 boxes sitting in my living room.

We purchased the round toilet due to limited space. This is perfect, in every way. Size, appearance, operation and comfort met or exceeded our expectations. It has a strong flush, uses less water, and even this round style is comfortable. It flushes better and cleaner than the other new purchase, an elongated Kohler. I’m in the process of choosing another Toto for a third bathroom.

It’s taller than my other toilet and it’s easier on the knees. It has tornado flush and it’s quick and efficient.Happy that it doesn’t use too much water.

When you purchase make sure the seller is Amazon. If it arrives broken you can get a replacement without an issue. Mine has no problems. It was shipped and dropped off with great care. Tank was double boxed. Installed right away with no problems. Check your flange to drywall gap. This is a 12inch rough in so it will almost touch the drywall. If you have a smaller rough in get a 10 inch rough in toilet. Also go through the description and make sure the height. This is a standard height ~16-17inches to the rim. I saw some were advertised as 14inches which is low. Overall fantastic product and looks good.

Toto has amazing flushing power, for a toilet without compressed air power flush and only slightly over a gallon per flush. Wish other manufacturers could do as well.

I ultimately bought the same toilet from Costco and the product is great (well designed and flushes well). When purchased through Amazon, the toilet was shipped in two big generic boxes that weren't labeled fragile and arrived with the tank shattered.If packaged and shipped properly, this would be a 5 star review.
