Helped me sleep easier especially those first few months! Easy charging and great customer service!
As a mom, the Owlet Sock has brought me so much peace of mind. There are moments I absolutely would have missed without it- like the time my baby’s heart rate spiked over 200 bpm. Another time, when she was a newborn, her oxygen dropped too low. I was alerted in time and able to wake her up, and I truly don’t know what might have happened otherwise- I’m forever grateful for that alert. The sock fits well, is soft, and easy to put on. The app is user-friendly and displays live heart rate and oxygen levels clearly. It’s reassuring to see those real-time numbers while your baby sleeps. Just a note: the app only logs data in about 15-minute intervals for historical tracking, so some fluctuations — like that 200 bpm spike — might not show up later in the chart. I do wish it logged every moment.Charging is now super simple with the updated drop-and-go base so no more plugging in tiny cables. It’s quick and convient. One thing to be aware of: my baby’s foot got a red spot from sweat/friction. I reached out to Owlet support, and they responded quickly. A nurse even sent us a replacement sensor just in case so great customer service. I now rotate feet and use a thin sock underneath and we haven’t had any redness since.Something I really appreciate as a parent concerned about EMFs: the sock uses Bluetooth, not Wi-Fi. Only the base station connects to Wi-Fi, and that can be placed farther away from your baby, which gives me peace of mind.If you’re a parent who just wants that extra layer of reassurance especially during those newborn months — I would definitely recommend the Owlet Sock.

This is a must have to have
**Owlet Dream Sock Review**The Owlet Dream Sock has been a game-changer for our family’s peace of mind. This innovative baby monitor provides real-time insight into our little one’s sleep patterns and wellness, which is incredibly reassuring as new parents. The setup was simple, and the sock fits snugly yet comfortably on our baby’s foot without causing any irritation. It’s lightweight and doesn’t disturb our baby’s sleep, even during long stretches. The fabric is soft, and the adjustable design means it grows with your baby, making it a long-term investment. What sets the Dream Sock apart is the wealth of data it provides through the Owlet app. From sleep trends and heart rate to oxygen levels, the insights are detailed and easy to understand. The notifications are prompt but not intrusive, alerting us to changes without causing unnecessary anxiety. The app is user-friendly, and I love being able to track sleep progress and patterns over time. It has genuinely helped us create a better sleep routine for our baby, and the confidence it provides is priceless.Overall, the Owlet Dream Sock is an incredible tool for parents who want to stay informed about their baby’s wellness. It’s worth every penny for the peace of mind it brings. Highly recommend it to any new parent!

A Must-Have for Peace of Mind — Especially for NICU Babies
The Owlet Dream Sock has been an absolute lifesaver for our family. My son was a NICU baby and came home still on oxygen, so having a reliable way to monitor his oxygen levels and pulse rate was incredibly important to us. This device let us keep track of everything, including his sleeping schedule, which gave me and my husband so much peace of mind.As a working mom, I especially loved that I could check his data from work — it really helped me feel connected and reassured throughout the day. The sock itself is comfortable for my baby to wear and never seemed to bother him. The app is also very user-friendly and easy to navigate, even during those stressful early days.I can’t recommend this enough to any parent, especially if you have extra health concerns. Truly worth every penny for the peace of mind it brings!

It works, but only for a year
tl;drThe device provides peace of mind when it works, but seems to be built to only last a year as we've had two of them that stopped working between 11-12 months which is also the limit on their warranty. We just can't afford to buy a $300 device for every kid so we won't be buying another one.PROS:- Helpful data that gives peace of mind that your baby is okay- Vitals can give you early signs that your baby is getting sick or recovering from sicknessCONS:- Only last 11-12 months (we've had this happen with two socks)- Strict warranty, if you contact them about an issue after 12 months of purchasing they will not help you- App has some bugs and navigating the app can be confusingWe purchased the original Smart Sock from Owlet for our first child. The sock and the app worked great, providing helpful vitals data that gave us peace of mind. When the company got into hot water with the FDA over their original Smart Sock, our sock which had worked perfectly for almost a year suddenly stopped working. It would no longer connect to the Owlet Care app. When we contacted support they said that our sock was outside the 12 month warranty (Though it stopped working before that. Buyer beware, if you have any issues at all with this sock before 12 months, contact the company immediately or they will not work with you).We hoped that this was a fluke with their original device and the trouble they got into with the FDA over portraying it as a medical device. So with our second child we decided to try it again and bought their new Dream Sock. The device itself worked just as well as the first one. They also had a new app that was more confusing and less helpful, but overall the system still provided peace of mind. When our second child was around 11 months the system started having trouble. It would constantly give us Yellow warnings but when we would check on our baby everything was fine. We tried adjusting the sock placement, resetting it with the base station, cleaning it, everything. Eventually the sock stopped sending information to the base station at all. The app would show that it was connected to the sock, but no vital information would come through. When we finally decided it was time to contact Owlet about this, we were just over the 12 month warranty window and they refused to fix or replace the device.Overall, while we love the functionality and peace of mind it gives us, it's too expensive of a device to only last a year. If you're planning to have multiple kids, expect that you'll have to buy a new one for each child. I see other reviews mention a similar experience so I know we're not alone.
