I have now used this diffuser for a few weeks, and am very happy with it. It is good looking and even though it may appear large in size initially, it works in a nice corner setting in any room.It is very easy to use and the controls are touch-based and intuitive. There is the option of various colors (or rotating), and all of them in high and low setting. There also is a candle like setting which makes the diffuser look pretty cool. There is an auto-shutoff built into the device when the water gets exhausted.I have been very happy with this diffuser's performance, and would recommend trying this if you are looking for something similar.

This oil diffuser has a very nice design that will last throughout the night. I really like the touch sensitive controls and auto shut off if low on water. There are high/low settings which are both super quiet as well. The 7 light colors give off a nice soft glow for different ambiances. The unit also comes with a little measuring cup so you can get an idea of how much water to add. I use purified or distilled water just to have a more pure mist. This VAVA Diffuser is a nice addition to any home or office!!

The diffuser looks great. It also works well with large capacity. You can change the color as well.Very beautiful! Five star! Good to have it.

The Vava Ultrasonic Aroma Diffuser (VA-AD007) is a multifunction device that combines the therapeutic effects of cool mist aromatherapy with the soothing effect of watching colored light continuously changing colors throughout the entire visible color spectrum. The bottom base of the diffuser has a realistic looking wood grain pattern, while the top section is a diamond pattern translucent polypropylene (BPA free) dome. This dome has a wood grain top, but the sides are translucent polypropylene to allow viewing of the color changing lights from any direction.Not too long ago, I was skeptical about aromatherapy and essential oils. As an engineer, I was not sure about the scientific basis of aromatherapy. However, after some research, and after about 8 months of using an ultrasonic essential oil diffuser, I became convinced of the therapeutic and psychological benefits. I began by using several different essential oils (peppermint, lavender, eucalyptus, tea tree, lemongrass, and sweet orange), by placing several drops in the water of the ultrasonic aroma diffuser. Each of the oils has a different effect, and different oils are used for various purposes. I was particularly interested in the stress relief and the calming effect that users have reported. I now believe that an increased sense of physical and emotional well-being does occur.This aroma diffuser uses an ultrasonic transducer, which has several benefits over the aroma lamps, which heat the oils. This diffuser creates a cold water vapor that instantly starts when the unit is turned on. This type of aroma diffuser (as opposed to aroma lamps that heat the oils and take time to warm it) has an ionizing effect on the air in a room (negative ions are produced). These negative ions attach themselves to positive ion dust particles, and cause the dust particles to fall to the floor, which results in cleaner air.In addition, this ultrasonic oil diffuser spreads more of the oil molecules into the air for a fuller fragrance than lamp diffusers create. With lamp diffusers, the less volatile molecules of the oil stay in the aroma dish, and only the most volatile molecules are put into the air. With this Vava diffuser, the water and oil molecules are broken into millions of micro particles, creating a fine water and oil vapor that spreads quickly throughout the room, spreading the entire fragrance, rather than only the most volatile particles of the aroma.Operation of the diffuser is simple. A small 24 volt DC power supply has a cord which plugs into the back side of the diffuser. Then, the top section (dome) of the unit is lifted straight up to reveal the water tank. Water is then added to the tank. A maximum fill mark shows the maximum amount of water that can be used (500 ml, or 17 ounces). Several drops of essential oil can then be added to the water if desired (optional). The dome is then placed back on the base. A measuring cup is included with the diffuser. The unit will operate for about 12 to14 hours before refilling with water is needed (I found that it would operate for almost 14 hours on the high mist setting, and almost twice as long on the low mist setting).There are 4 touch sensitive “buttons” (actually touch sensitive areas, and not physical buttons) on the front side of the base of the diffuser (labeled CANDLE, COLOR, HIGH/LOW, and MIST, from left to right). One or two beep tones are heard when the buttons are pushed to let you know that the press was accepted, and which mode was selectedThe CANDLE button turns the candle function on or off. When turned on, the diffuser will simulate the flickering yellow/orange flame of a candle burning. The light from the translucent dome looks similar to a candle burning inside a frosted glass candle holder. A Single CANDLE button push turns the candle on, and the candle is turned off by a 2 second push of the CANDLE button.The COLOR button controls the colors of the translucent dome. A single push of the COLOR button causes the diffuser to begin to cycle through a continuously changing color and brightness sequence, as it cycles through the entire rainbow spectrum of colors and intensities. The entire sequence takes about 65 seconds before it starts over again (continuously). Another push of the LIGHT button will stop the color changing, and lock the color of the light that was being displayed when the COLOR button was pushed. Each additional push of the light button will cycle through 14 different colors (a bright and a dim version of each the 7 spectrum colors). Any of these colors can be chosen, and stay on that color continuously when the COLOR button is released. A longer push of the LIGHT button (2 seconds) turns all lighting off. Lighting is produced by three groups of varying color LEDs under the water in the water reservoir base unit.The button on the far right is the MIST button. When this button is first pushed, a cool water vapor mist instantly begins from a hole in the top of the diffuser. This puts the diffuser into the 60 minute mode), and a yellow LED lights under the 60 position (the mist will continue for 60 minutes and then turn off). Each time this button is pushed, the mister will cycle between the 60 minute mode, the 120 minute mode, the 180 minute mode, the continuously on mode (ON), and the off mode (2 beeps will be heard with the off mode). A yellow LED under each position shows what operation the mister is in. All four of these positions put the mister into the low mist modeAll of these modes (60, 120, 180, and ON) have a high mist mode also. Whenever the mister is in any of these operations in low mist mode, a push of the HIGH/LOW button will put it into high mist mode (a single beep will be heard, indicating high mist mode). To go back to low mist mode, simply push the HIGH/LOW button again to return to the low mist mode (2 beeps will be heard, indicating low mist mode again). Each push of the HIGH/LOW button will cycle back and forth between low mist and high mist mode (2 beeps will be heard for low mist mode, and one beep for high mist mode). The high mist mode produces quite a bit of cool moisture for humidifying a small room, while distributing an essential oil scent around the room.Operation of the LED lights and the mist are independent of each other, and either can be used individually, if desired. The mist portion of the diffuser will turn off automatically if the unit runs out of water. This unit will humidify the air in a small room fairly well.The effect of the different essence oils is a very subjective experience, and probably varies greatly from person to person. I did enjoy the aroma of the different essence oils, which was a very pleasant experience, and did produce a calming effect for me. I am anxious to experiment with more of the different essence oils, as each oil is supposed to have a different effect.Perhaps, as much as the aromatherapy, I found that the different light colors of the diffuser also produced a very pleasant experience. I particularly enjoyed the 65 second cycle of changing colors of the spectrum, and found it to be quite calming, especially when in a dark or partially darkened room. An awesome atmosphere is created! This, combined with the aromatherapy was a very welcome experience.The Vava aroma diffuser seems to be well constructed, and quality materials seem to be used throughout. Since LEDs are used for the light source, the unit should last for many years of service. The diffuser uses only about 11 watts of power on the high mist setting (much less than a lamp diffuser), so operation for 6 hours will only cost less than a penny's worth of electricity.
