Pretty good in a Bunn
Overall, I'm impressed with these. I typically clean my Bunn coffee maker with white vinegar and the descaling rod every 3 months. The cleaner rod disappeared and now it's been 6 months since the "guts" were cleaned out and it was looking and tasting bad.I "brewed" a pot of hot water before turning off the reservoir. I intended to just pour the hot water over 2 of these tablets while they sat on the grate. They did not dissolve enough so I took off the 2 screws and the lid. After 10 minutes of them effervescing, I got tired of waiting and squished them (easily) with my fingers and let them sit in the top water portion for an hour as it foamed. Before and after pics of how well it cleaned that area since I can't see inside the tank. It foamed up/ attacked a bunch of grossness that could best be described as "pond scum looking".I pressed the white part release stopper and let the solution go into the reservoir tank and let it sit for an hour. Then came the flushing out. I typically use white vinegar and feel bad wasting so much water flushing out the system to make sure there is no vinegaryness left. This went to another level, lol. I ran the first 2 pots of water through and got big gross chunks in the pot, THEN took the spray head off since they were so big I was afraid they would clog it and soaked that in vinegar by itself since there was lots of scum in the threads and underside of the head.10 more pots of plain water to flush out the inner tank over the next hour and a half since I was still getting "floaties" that looked like flaked fish food in the brewed water and didn't want to take a chance with the chemicals in these tablets remaining in the tank. That said, it took longer and more water than usual, but it was twice as long since cleaning. I think these did a great job, probably better than just the vinegar. It removed a lot of the calcium and coffee oils inside (and I fear mold or fungus), but I still had to scrub and soak the carafe, basket and head separately since stains remained on them.

Vague instructions, doesn't dissolve easily, but no vinegar odor
18 Tablets(5g/tabs) Espresso Machine Cleaning Tablet Works on Breville and all brands of espresso machines, Coffee Maker&Coffee Pot Cleaner And Descaler, Non-Toxic BiodegradableThe instructions for these were very vague, instructing you to place the tablet in the "special opening" and follow manufacturer's cleaning instructions. I have a drip coffee maker with no "special opening" that I'm aware of. I tried to dissolve this in a cup of hot water first and although I left it for a long time, and stirred and crushed to try to break it up, it still wouldn't completely dissolve. I filled the coffee maker and let the solution sit for a few hours before starting the brew cycle. I didn't notice any dirty looking water coming out or any taste difference in our coffee after cleaning so maybe our coffee maker just wasn't very dirty to begin with? I will give this another try next time I need to clean my coffee maker. I appreciate that with these my house doesn't fill up with the less than pleasant odor of vinegar, but based on my first try vinegar seems to be easier to use and possibly more effective.

Packaging Could Be Improved
I made the mistake of not working my way through the entire product page before placing my order, so I completely missed the more detailed instructions included there. Instead, I initially had to rely on the instructions that are included with the actual product. Those instructions are....less detailed. In short: the included instructions tell you to place a tablet in the water basin of your coffee maker and then refer you to the cleaning instructions for your specific coffee maker. So I wound up running about 3-4 cycles of my coffee maker trying to get the one tablet to fully dissolve. After the 2nd cycle, I realized that I'd be better off waiting for the tablet to dissolve before running additional cycles. While I did notice coffee particles emptying out during the cleaning process, I'm not entirely sure that the tablets are any more effective than using a distilled white vinegar solution. (Using the latter certainly would be quicker.) But, like the product claims, there was no aftertaste after using the tablet.

Cleans really well, make sure you rinse thoroughly
Pros:- It cleans really wellCons:- Instruction bad and not the easiest to use- Material used is not safe for ingestion so make sure you rinse really wellThe cleaning power of these tablet is really good, it really only requires one brew cycle to get the dirty oils and leftover grinds out. I cleaned both my Keurig and pot brew coffee machine using this and the 2nd cup is already clean water. Also you can see in the last image the filter holder, the bottom where the liquid will contact is clean like a mirror compared to the side where the liquid did not get contact. This isn't for someone who prefers convenience though. First of all, it comes in a tablet, and that tablet does not melt fast, you might need to let it sit in water for a while or even stir it for it to dissolve fully. The components, Sodium Percarbonate and Sodium Carbonate are both listed on google as not safe to ingest so you really gotta rinse your machine thoroughly before using it again after cleaning.I feel this is meant for a detergent rather than something you use to descale with as I initially thought.
