Well-built storage box
I bought this for our Church to store memorabilia within it. We are about to celebrate our 125th year since our founding and there's a lot of programs and past directories that needed a "good safe home". This worked great. Good quality, opens well, about the right weight.

Does it's job
It's a box. Seems well made, no issues in the color of it, like no light spots or faded spots.

Not worth the price
Big disappointment. Box color was not dark brown as pictured but a much lighter tan. Constructed of cheap materials. The fact that it is the right size for what I need is the only reason I am not returning it. Definitely NOT worth the exorbitant price. Do not recommend.

Solving a problem economically and efficiently with personal customization
I bought this to house a microscope when not in use. I tricked it out to not only fit the microscope but also the accessories. I put on a handle for picking up and carrying. I attached latches to prevent unintended opening. I stained it chestnut. I didn’t finish it as well as I could have if I spent more time but it’s not a piece of furniture, cabinet, door or molding so it is good enough for me.

Nice Box
Good box. I'm using it to lift my tv. Pricey at $59.00 but only one I could find with 5 inch width. Doesn't seem like real wood, but it does the job.

Nice box, with quality issues
Generally a nice wooden box. But my box arrived cracked. It was cracked during assembly or shortly thereafter. Perhaps because that area of the corner miters were not glued and things were able to move.First ding is the box arrived cracked and in places is not glued.Second ding is the bottom isn't as think as the rest of the box. It's built like a typical drawer: a very thin sheet of material in a groove.A third minor ding is the top of mine was marred, box was dropped or something dropped onto it and there's a one inch scuff and dent that will need filling if I want the top smooth for painting. Sanding will fix the scuff (loose wood fibers around the dent); but the dent itself is too deep.
