I have very long (about 2-1/2 feet) naturally blonde hair that is extremely fine, which means a breeze can tangle it. About 20 years ago, I learned about this product when I noticed the glorious very long hair on a stranger. After I complimented her beautiful hair, I asked her what products she used. She told me Komenuka Bijin Moisturizing Shampoo and Komenuka Bijin Moisturizing Hair Treatment. I immediately ordered some -- and never looked back. After the first wash, I could tell an immediate improvement. My hair was silky soft, shiny, and smooth. I haven't had a split end in years.I use the Moisturizing Hair Treatment differently than instructed. I don't rinse it out of my hair from the back of my neck down through its full length. I simply towel it off gently, brush it out, and go about my business. I don't even blow it dry -- it's not necessary. It's dries like blond satin.I love, love, LOVE this product.

My experience with the sample packages were superb.After purchase of the shampoo, one corner of my scalp started itching badly that I had to use medicated shampoo which dried my hair.The Bijin conditioner did not soften my hair after the medicated shampoo. Very disappointing.

This conditioner is excellent. I love the scent (and there aren't many products I like the smell of). It's also quite concentrated so it goes a long way and can last a long time. Ingredients seem to be good and relatively non-toxic. I first tried it in 2011 and even though I always periodically alternate with other conditioners, I have always come back to it. For me that makes it gold standard.
