Bought a flimsy plate hanger at the hardware store. Too small to fit the plate, no protective tips, no picture hanger included, cost twice as much, bent beyond use while trying to wrestle it into the large plate. I got it for a large metal decorative tray, and was worried that the wire would be too small because of my tray's weird shape, but it fit perfectly. The wire is sturdy, fits over the tray well, and has plastic-covered edges that protect the tray from scratches. It comes with a a nail and hook -- a small but nice detail.

I've been buying signed drum heads at some of the concerts I go to and wanted to display them on the wall. Most of the options for drum head displays are pretty expensive. The cheapest way to do it is to hang them on push pins, but that that isn't terribly secure. These Tripar Wall Plate Hangers, though, do the trick. They are big enough to hold both 14.5" and 16.5" drum heads without having to really stretch out the springs, as is the case with smaller plate hangers. This holds them securely without putting a lot of force on the springs.I think you could even pair these with Command picture hooks so you don't even have to make a nail hole in the wall.

The product is sound just not what I needed to hang two heavy glass platters. I was trying different products - still am - but so far haven’t found anything I am comfortable using.

My parents received a very large pewter platter as a wedding gift some 65 years ago. It rested on the mantelpiece my entire childhood and, when I inherited it, we never found just the right place until this hanger came along. Now it resides in splendor on the dining room wall. Quick installation and seems very sturdy.

Heartbroken that my large lightweight plate came crashing down after a few hoursof being mounted. I wish there had been a minimum weight recommendation. The product us fine - made well, sturdy, as advertised - just not for big lightweight plates.

The hooks are easily adjusted to fit the edges of the piece your trying to display.

I was worried these either wouldn't work with the size of my tole trays (even after measuring) or support the weight of them, but I've had hanging for weeks now and I'm so happy with the hooks. Super easy to install, and they have rubber pieces to protect the trays.
