Very Functional
The usb 3.0 hub for laptop or computer is very functional and has a really nice design. There is 10 or of 10 in connectivity and comes with several port capacity. Good value for your money

Excellent USB hub
There are so many USB hubs out there to choose from. After reading many reviews, I chose the SmartQ hub, and I couldn't be happier. This hub is compact because of it's sideways port configuration. The 2 foot cable is the perfect length for my needs. It's great to give me more ports and makes it easy to copy from one flash drive to another. I liked this hub so much I ordered another one for my other computer.

Great buy but....
This is a great hub but it does not work when trying to use 2 Logitech USB web cams.

Using with my embroidery machine to protect the port since I'm moving USB constantly. It works just fine.

A Lesson in how to use a USB Hub
My Laptop is unlike most laptops - the keyboard (even though it's a year old) has basically failed to work. I have to use a bluetooth keyboard and mouse (USB #1), I also have two external drivers (USB #2, #3) and I have a headset (USB #4). Here's a little lesson for ya. The reason some of the 1 star ratings claim it's faulty or doesn't work right is they're plugging too much into this USB hub. It works great but when the more powerful externals are plugged into it at once it crawls. But right now the keyboard/mouse which I'm using to write this drivel, and the headset are plugged into the hub while one external is plugged into my laptop. All is well in the Universe.Be smart. Don't overload the hub. It works as described. It works well and it's a great investment. Class dismissed.

Makes things easier for me
It works just s I expected it to. My laptop only has 2 usb ports which are too close together for me to use my flash drive and my wireless mouse. This enables me to use them all at once and till have an open port.
