Beautiful markers! I love writing with these when it's sunny out. Through my own experience, they don't work on mirrors. Something else to keep in mind is that after a few days to a week, depending on how much direct sunshine you get, the crystal effect will start to fade. This isn't a problem because they clean up super easy, I use a wet cloth with a little bit of soap but through experience one can use just a wet cloth. So far they haven't dulled, I believe they'll last as long as a normal marker if kept in the right conditions. Definitely fun for a classroom, especially in the winter when you can draw snowflakes!

Got these for my grandkids age 2-11. Could not see the lighter colors. You have to wait forever to see the effect and you can only see it with the darker colors if you layer them up a lot! Waste of money! Just let them color the windows with washable marker, they'll have more fun and the clean up is easier.

First time I purchased them it was summer and they did great. Kids loved them. This time it was winter and the windows were cold. They took longer to crystalize and ran down the windows by morning.
