This has turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. I have previously bought a car washing brush kit from the centre aisle of one of the two well known discount supermarkets. This has a hose attachment and a soap dispenser and the idea is you brush it over your car leaving a trail of soapy bubbles which you then brush off. I am sure this would be very effective for someone who is young and a frequent visitor to the local gym. For someone who has not had a trace of a 6 pack for donkeys years it is a huge effort to even do one side of your car.That is enough info to explain why I wanted something at the other end of the weight spectrum but also would not fall apart after a couple of uses. When this arrived it was indeed very light and the plastic rings that you screw down to adjust the length looked a bit rubbish. Surprisingly though the whole thing has worked really well and the bright green mitts soaks up a good deal of water/car shampoo mix. I knew this was a good deal cheaper than other products that had the green mitts but I can't imagine that the more expensive versions are any better than this.I can recommend it and when it all falls apart in the future I will buy another one.

Green end of handle broke after 10 mins, still done what I needed it to do. It was inexpensive to buy, still functional and the microfibre cloths did the job.

I bought this for using on my caravan. Its perfect and its ideal for cleaning the road dust off the solar panels. Plus it works really well on the widows and doesnt leave stupid streaks. It weighhs nothing and collapses really small so can be stored in the van with no hassle.

When this product arrived, it looked superficially OK and I hoped it'd work well. However, I was initially perturbed that the telescopic arm didn't work as it should. The three telescopic sections were supposed to twist and lock into place in two locations. One of the sections sometimes locked when twisted, but not always, and I couldn't see why it only worked sporadically. The other section simply didn't lock at all when twisted. So, the arm itself seemed less than impressive, but I decided to give it a try, and I began by attempting to clean the windscreen and roof of my car. On the VERY FIRST ATTEMPT to press the mop onto the windscreen – and I wasn't being rough – the telescopic arm broke in two at one of the telescopic joints. It just fell apart with the first push. It was completely broken: impossible to reassemble, and clearly lacking the strength necessary to do its basic job. So I had to abandon the telescopic arm entirely, and I proceeded to try to clean the car using just the microfibre mop-head (mitten), which does have a handle to allow it to be gripped from behind. Well, I succeeded in mostly cleaning the car with it, but it was very unsatisfactory. I really don't whether or not it's really made of microfibre, but I doubt it, because it shed little green bits all over the car, and left the whole thing looking messy. Eventually I abandoned the green mitten entirely and finished off by using a dedicated microfibre towel – a different product entirely – that I'd bought separately. The green mop was intended to help me reach the more inaccessible parts of the car, but it proved to be worse than useless (first breaking, then shedding green bits), and I ended up cleaning the car just by using the microfibre towel that I'd bought separately for finishing off. That did NOT shed bits as the green mitten had done. Needless to say, I returned the broken mop to Amazon for a refund, and I strongly discourage anyone from buying this shockingly poor quality product.

Well ordered this to make it easier to clean my caravan. Looked good, and price was really good.It arrived, have to say disappointed on opening packaging, smaller than I thought, and handle kept collapsing down, mop head was good, and the job did get done, but took longer than expected.!

The mop head broke apart after a short use...needs to be sturdy. And no i did not stand on it or apply much pressure.So this product gets a thumbs down from me.

I bought this to save me getting my hands wet during the cold weather and because of mobility issues. Having used it for the 1st time with the pole it works well. Holds a lot of water/detergent and is easy to rinse out between applying more detergent. Reaches the roof of my SUV with ease.You have to be careful how you handle/position it as although it has 180 deg swivel if you apply pressure out side of that the handle detaches, which is no big deal when you get the hang of it.Washed it in clean water when done and gave it a short spin in the washing machine and looks good as new.A good buy I recon.
