They're great, very comfortable. If anything, I've learned that my heels have dry skin, which should be better maintained.The quality, comfort, color are 100% satisfactory. Well, for a great many people, I am sure. Why not you? It's only money.I am enjoying them, as I am currently feeling the cooler air of late November. But as dress socks in, say, July... not so sure. Maybe. I wear black socks 5 days a week, and have for decades. I don't want to get into it right now.By comparison, I currently am wearing an all-wool product by Gold-toe, i believe called Windsor, which ,to me, seems to enable both wool-warmth and air exchange, or something.The brushed, flannel-like feel of the merino has a really nice feel, certainly.. Undeniably. I'm afraid that it's as simple as: my feet perspire a bit more. Yet, it's described as Thin Merino. Is there thinner?So, hey, there is obvious quality going into these socks, they feel like a dream when you put them on.But, I don't want to wear them 9 hours a day, cause I get hot feet. That's probably a me thing. Me and my hot feet.

I bought thick wool socks and these dress socks and ended up returning these because they are like thin tuxedo type dress socks. If that is what you are looking for. I went with more of a crew cushioned wool sock from amazon instead They were called moisture wicking hiking running socks and they were a lot like bombas merino wool crew socks which is better for me than these were for same price.
