Reliable Wi-Fi 6 + Bluetooth Upgrade That Works Flawlessly So Far
I needed a Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi card for a custom-built PC I’ve had for years. Typically, I rely on Ethernet, but wanted wireless support for a headset, controllers, and a Logitech Bluetooth mouse to declutter my setup. This TP-Link Archer TX55E (AX3000) does the job extremely well—no connection issues so far, reliable signal, and easy to set up. Based on the specs, it does offer faster speeds and improved Bluetooth performance compared to older models.Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Increased speed and expanded capabilities
This thing is freaking awesome compared to a $75 straight WiFi card. Wasn’t to hard to get the correct drivers installed. It worked well with my i7-10700k on a asrock z490 board. Compatible with my Xbox controller. Range is good. I went for getting 50-60mbps to getting 575mbps and only changed the WiFi card. No other wireless device in my house get that speed. Value is good because it beats the $75 ac1300 that was in my computer when I bought it. I just wanted something with both WiFi and Bluetooth.

Worth the money.
Absolutely amazing, It fit snug and the Wifi signal (mine being 932.5Mbs) and Bluetooth are excellent. Windows 11 did not recognize it right away so had to go to the website for the drivers although it did come with the disc. It was built great the bluetooth sounds amazing.

Works well, installation is unnecessarily complicated
Wifi and bluetooth both work very well, especially for only $30. Note that the bluetooth functionality requires you to to connect the card to a USB header on your motherboard (it includes a cord to do this), the Bluetooth WILL NOT WORK UNLESS YOU DO THIS (if you only care about the wifi you can just plug it into the pcie slot). The driver installation was very frustrating, which is why I took a star off. The drivers are included on a CD, but who uses a cd reader in 2025. You can just download the drivers off of the tp link website (if you look up tx55 drivers on google you can find them), but the file sometimes won’t unzip in windows, so you might have to unzip to google drive them using a third-party website. It took me a few hours to get the drivers figured out but once I did the card works smoothly. Installation is super finicky and a bit frustrating, but especially for $30 this is a very effective, high-speed wifi and Bluetooth card.

Zoooooooming wifi!
Wow! Network card works great, but with the enclosed driver on a mini-cd (yes, a CD) only connects at 1201Mbs. An updated driver is not yet available from Windows Update, go directly to the TP-link page grab the latest driver and wow! Connection speeds doubled. I'm on a gigabit plan but the connection to the router was more than twice that.

Works Great On Linux
I had to move my Linux desktop into a room without network cabling, and I didn't want to run cable through the walls, so I bought this wireless adapter. I installed it into the pcie slot on the motherboard, booted into Linux, and wireless was immediately available. No hunting for drivers. This is on Kubuntu 20.04. It's true plug and play on Linux.UPDATE:I bought a second one for my newer Kubuntu 24.04 install on a different computer, and it also worked immediately without the need for hunting down drivers.

Fast, Affordable Wi-fi 6 pcie addon card
For Wi-Fi 6, this little card is a beast and gets the job done. According to Windows11, it is connecting at 2402Mbps both ways with OpenSpeedTest-LAN yielding 1.1Gbps Down and Up. Real-world file transfer of a video file to my Plex share yielded 153MB/sec (~1.5Gbps), which is about the write speed of the disk. Average does hover around 1.1Gbps. Server is about ~30ft away through a wall of wood and drywall.I did not hook up the Bluetooth as I did not have a need for that functionality, but it is optional with using a free USB header on the motherboard, cable included.Drivers did NOT get automatically detected, so you will need to use the included mini-CD or find them on TP-Link's website.
