I've never used furniture wax before but I really enjoyed the process and the finished product. No scratches yet which is amazing with 3 little kids. Very buttery to apply and got into crevices pretty nicely. Worked lovely with thr matte paint I used.My only complaint is that I got nauseous and really gross feeling after working for a bit too long. Of course you should be always using a ventilated area but I was just using my sunporch to work and opening windows made little furs and specs get involved which was hard to deal with. After that initial yuck feeling I cut my time working on it and would leave for fresh breaths. I figured a more natural product would be ok but nope, safety first!

We tried this on a table someone built for us and they recommended it. All natural, citrus smell (strong at first but fades fast) and it worked right into the table and has protected it against my 3 year old and 1 year old. Impressive

We used this on our old antique kitchen table, which sports a beautifully soft-looking old green paint, which for a long time we've hesitated to deep-clean or scrub for fear or wrecking the old paint. This finishing wax did a beautiful job without wrecking any of the patina -- it has just deepened its beauty, and we are extremely pleased. My husband says some Amazon reviewers didn't like the scent. We found the scent -- which is orange -- not obnoxious at all. In fact I was a bit sorry that the scent immediately started fading and then disappeared two days later. Now we're noticing several old wood pieces in our house that will love this treatment. Highly recommend.

This clear wax went on very easy and has a great lemon fresh scent. It takes about a hour to dry to touch. I painted a buffet with chalk paint. The clear wax brought out the distressing on the corners. Like all clear waxes, it will deepen the color.

This product is better than expected! I’ve been using various types and brands I’ve just been satisfied or less than impressed. Ordering this product was with hope for a consistent coverage, texture applying and less clumping and less roughness on my favorite wax brushes. I’m impressed with the ease working into finer detailed furniture spaces and the character in the final touches I’ve hoped for with out over use of my wax brushes. The softness of its texture allows for better discernment how much to use on a much more consistent basis with out wearing out my cheese cloths or bristles compared to other brands so far.... I also like the opening of this product being assessable to use easier while focusing on the over all vision I desire for my goals. It’s integrity does not decrease after opening and storing for the next use and it goes a long way ... the value is excellent and highly recommend.

This stuff is good. Easy to apply and easy to clean up makes it so much nicer than some waxes.

I used this on giant pier cabinets after chalk painting them. This was decent wax, and the scent was lemony and nice at first (but also a little strong and had to take breaks to get away from it). The only complaint was difficulty to apply if you’re dealing with a lot of cracks and lines. I prefer Dover’s wax. I wanted to branch out and try something new but will probably go back to Dover’s for my next project.
