Life changing!! No more pain! Love this stool!
Like most reviews. What is most important is context. How you intend to use something and what you’re solving for matter. For context, I’m nearly 6 feet tall. I have a standing desk both at work and at home. I also have tight hip flexors which sitting does not help. I have been suffering from sciatica and piriformis syndrome, along with lower back pain. Standing would help for awhile but then I would need to sit because of my lower back making the pain cycle continue. This stool is not designed for you to sit in it like a regular bar stool. It is designed to help you engage your core, allow for your pelvis to flex forward or back; allowing you to take pressure off your sitbones. Now, you can’t really lean back on it when standing like other perch stools. But those stools cost upwards of $300 to $500. What you can do is stand with your knees slightly bent and come into a hybrid position… slightly standing…. Slightly sitting. (But knees always lower than hips) This takes pressure off your lower back and your sitbones. If you have a standing desk, it also means you can adjust both the height of your desk and your stool in such a way that you really don’t need to adjust either of them again whether you decide to sit or transition to the hybrid stance.I am able to move the chair with one hand forward or back without any of the issues characterized in other reviews. The instructions do state that the seat has to be oriented a specific way upon assembly. That might be the issue for those reviews. Adjusting the chair up or down is effortless. For $60 this is a steal! This stool not only helped me heal but it also gives me confidence I won’t continue to have the common problems associated with sitting or standing all day. (Granted, I’ve also learned the value of stretching too.) Never-the-less……buy this stool. It’ll change your life!

sturdy, well made
I can move forwards/backwards as well as side-to-side. I sit all the way back in the seat and it is sturdy and stable, the base does not lift up or tilt easily . It is easy to adjust the height and also easy to move it out of the way if I just want to stand at my desk without it. I use the handles while sitting to occasionally stretch out my back, which is nice. It was extremely easy to assemble. I like it and am happy I bought it.3 weeks later. I still love this stool. I easily change from sitting to leaning, to standing, and my body is never static. This is not a comfort item, the seat is firm and not built for softness. I also have use my back muscles in a different way and that gets easier the more I use it. Recommended.

Height adjustment range is False, but decent chair for the price
This is a perfect example of you get what you pay for. It is functional and is mostly as described, but there's a reason why standing chairs typically start at twice the price.Pros:- Easy to put together, easy instructions- Seat cushion itself is comfortable- Adjusting the seat height is easy- The tilt is a nice feature if you are into that kind of thing- Good price for what you get- I am only 5'0 and the height adjust lets me fit with my feet completely on the ground or I can stand up and use it at my standing deskCons:- If you're looking to get a chair that extends to 33inches tall, this is NOT the chair for you. At the time of this writing (1/29/23), the description reads "Rises 26" to 33" (66 cm-84 cm)." But this is false. The most you'll get is a generous 28.5", you won't even clear 30".- The pole of the chair does not screw into the base stand, it is simply held in place by gravity. This causes the chair's tilt to feel very unstable even when your feet are firmly planted on the ground- The base of the chair seat does not screw into the pole of the chair at all, which also adds to the feeling of it being unstable and too tilty.- Moving the chair around is very annoying since neither the base nor the seat screw into the pole. You have to hold the base and the chair together in order to move it, unless you feel like taking the pieces out and putting them back together again just to move it 3 feet

Ok chair
I've been using this chair for a few months now, and it serves its purpose. My biggest issue is for some reason, the seat is slowly rotating around the base, so it is no longer facing the correct direction. No matter what I do, I can not get it to stay in the correct position. Works OK still, I'm just a little more hesitant to lean the seat

Great standing chair
This is a standing that you lean on. It is not a stool that you fully sit down on. It works well. Doesn’t slide around and the seat swivels although I never swivel the chair. Just note that I have it on the highest height setting and I’m only 5’4”. Taller people may find it too low.

Perfect size and comfort for me.
This chair is perfect for what I needed. It adjusts to the height of both my standard desk and my taller adjustable worktable. I perch on chairs so, for me, this is perfectly comfortable. However, if you prefer to sit "whole seat" style, you will find this seat to be a little too hard. There are drafting chairs with more comfortable seats that may work better for you.

Comfortable
I bought this for my classroom. I have been standing all day, this chair allows my to sit with my legs fully extended and takes the pressure off of my feet and back. It is much better than strictly standing or sitting in a traditional office type chair. It doesn't take up much space either.

Not quite it
At the right height, it’s comfy, it’s nice. But it’s also frustrating. The lowest setting is a little too tall for most desks. It only wedges into the base so when you pick it up by the seat, the base falls off. It needs to be lined up a certain way for stability, but nothing secures it, so it twists and you have to keep wrestling to re-align it. It doesn’t really rock side to side. It perches. It perches nice. But it’s not a wobble seat if you’re looking for movement.
