I thought this was a little bit pricey for a couple of pamphlets in a box, and I was picturing a flimsy cardboard box. However I was surprised, it actually comes in a really nice box like it's a proper board game, and while the books are more of a magazine, they are reasonably thick. The campaign it came with was larger than I expected. Overall I'm very satisfied with this as a starter set. Love the included dice. I got the other hardback books as well from the modiphius website directly, but this is a nicer addition to the bookshelf than I anticipated! Looking forward to actually playing

I ran a quick game with my friends to try something new out and get out of our DnD5e bubble. Good game, easy to comprehend rules. Though the adventure included in the starter set seems simple on first read actually playing the adventure the gaps in the information start to show. We had to improvise a lot and near the end of the first session I was just reading the adventure verbatim and we had a laugh poking fun at it. Definitely worth the money spent, but not a tightly written adventure as let’s say Dragon Wreck Isle, which is also a starter set adventure. Fine for me and my group at least.

Most everything except the dice is available online for free. But the quality of this set is fantastic and it now occupies a place on my little Fallout shelf. Not at all a bad deal for $28

A great way to learn the game's 2d20 table-top role-playing system and not too expensive to buy. Includes a rule book, an introductory adventure, a pad of character sheets, all the needed dice (additional ones would be useful too), and a bunch of cardboard nuka cola tokens. For those wishing to expand their game further, I would recommend getting the Core Rulebook and the Game Master's Kit. Be careful as there is also the Fallout: Wasteland Warfare game which involves using miniature figures and is far more expensive.

This game is so fun to play and a perfect update to the very outdated fallout tabletop rpg from the past. It comes with everything you need to introduce a small group of new players to the game and games can flow easily

We loved this game. This will be a game my husband and I will be playing all the time. But when we received the delivery from amazon the package was clearly open by the amazon driver.
