One of the best fluxes I've used for drone board repairs
I've been using this BEEYUIHF flux for repairing DJI drone circuit boards, and it consistently delivers excellent results. It helps the solder flow smoothly and makes clean joints every time. I’ve had zero issues with cold joints or residue after cleaning. It’s easy to apply and really improves my repair work quality. Definitely one of my favorite fluxes for electronics repair!

Better product than the old brown stuff.
This is almost like a very thin candle wax. Goes on wires and terminals easily. Solder joints are shinny and clean.

Not for tinning!!!!
The media could not be loaded. This stuff is not for tinning, it is specifically made for hot air rework for removal of ic chips ONLY! this does not cause solder wetting. It will not tin pads or traces. It is specifically for keeping the board from damaging under high heat. If you need safe solder flux for tinning use something that has pine rosin in the formula or use pine pitch rosin directly and you’ll get what you’re looking for when it comes to tinning and removing oxidation. I can not stress this enough! DO NOT PURCHASE FOR TINNING!!!!!

Not as good as rosin flux, I’m sending it back
It looks and brushes on like petroleum jelly. Just as the product description and text on the lid states, it is low smoke. That’s because it doesn’t really burn off, and instead leaves a big sticky pool behind.I bought this because I’m soldering a bunch of IDC connectors onto a bunch of boards, and trying to drag-solder them. I’m using eutectic solder with a mildly-activated rosin core. This works great but to get enough flux onto the joint I’m wasting a couple of grams of solder per connector. This flux seemed to be a good buy. It’s not however working to my satisfaction.I noticed it takes about 30% longer for the liquid solder to flow onto the pins than using rosin flux. Unlike the rosin flux, which I could solder about 30 connectors before cleaning my tip, this flux causes fouling requiring the tip be cleaned about every 2-3 connectors. I also see poorer flow of the solder with the new flux. The center connector in the photo is rosin-only; the outer two used rosin for tacking down the end pins and this new flux for the remaining ones.As mentioned, even though this is claimed as no-clean flux, you absolutely need to clean it off because, big sticky pool, which spreads across the board. If you watch the demo video of removing a surface-mount IC, you can see this for yourself. On the plus side, it does clean off quickly using an IPA-saturated wipe.
