Why didn’t I find this years ago! Removes the guesswork around hitting pipes and cables. Easy to use and accurate!

Accuracy seems spot on, found the studs with no problems. Seems to not give any false readings as far as I can tell. Works great. And such a reasonable price Can't go wrong!

Just take care as the same lights appear when travelling over pipes and electrics as over joists. So good to detect of SOMETHING is behind the wall .... A bit of common sense needing to be applied to figure out what it might be though!

Absolutely spot on. Had many a stud detectors in the past and all were hit and miss. Needed to put a TV up on a stud wall and after reading loads of reviews, I chose this as it was the only one that appeared to work.And it does, VERY well. The LEDs show the width of the stud and the middle LED goes green to highlight the centre. I had narrow studs in the wall so had to make sure I hit the centre exactly and this was perfect for the job.

Have had a stud detector for many years, a useful tool but accuracy could never be relied upon, a complaint often seen applied to other stud detectors. However the performance of this unit appears to be at a different level. Have only used it for detecting ceiling joists through dry wall plaster boards, but its sensitivity appears excellent, and its design incorporating a line of sensors makes centering of the joist easy. Usually the centre is positively identified by the green led, but even in more difficult situations, the behaviour pattern of red leds is sufficient to provide an accurate assessment. Overall, especially considering its modest price, an impressive tool, and a very good buy.
