I have tried lots of different products, this one is by far the best, it sets and keeps the natural curl in place. No frizz, absolutely brilliant. I love it.

Wow & Triple Wow!! This product is amazing for my 3c dry thick frizzy hair I’ve battled with for years. I’m mid-50’s and use box colours on my hair and this product really came up trumps.I bought it on a whim and purely ad it had so many high 5* reviews. I thought, all those reviewers can’t be wrong!I didnt hold out much hope at first as it was quite thin, but honestly this cream was like adding a layer of silk on my hair when wet. Fabulous slip and brilliant for finger combing out knots too. I didn’t need as much of this product as I thought either. Then the magic really happened when I added “Shea butter Jamaican black castor oil Strengthen & Restore Leave-In conditioner” before this product. I flopped my head forward and scrunched it all in. It sounded really lovely and squelchy (as recommended by the ‘Manes by Mel’ methods I follow). Scrunch in well, it’ll be wet, but not so it’s drippping everywhere. Then flop your head forward and DON’T TOUCH IT. Leave it completely to air dry, THEN flop head forward ‘Scrunch that crunch” and voila!!! I was stunned. I had beautiful curls. Held well. Soft and not too crunchy. They hold well all day too. I’m made up. My hair hasn't looked this good in a while. The two products together are a perfect love affair in my opinion. Love love love. It’s my new go-to combination. I’m a very happy ‘curly’ bunny 😍

The curl smoothie has a delicious coconuty fragrance. Although It does the job well, using a curling gel alongside will give more definition to your curls/coils.

Amazing

This product has changed my hair game! I have always had trouble with my afro hair, it just used to always break. It shrinks when I take a shower or am in the rain and it knots up and anything too heavy just clogs it up and gives me spots. The hard London water doesn’t help either and for years I just wore it in a weave. I have been using this daily for the past 6-9 months and it just gives my hair the moisture it needs and makes my hair so soft. The trick for me is to rub a very small amount between my palms (it almost doubles in consistency and gets kind of wet) and then with my hair in 6 sections I lightly pat it on my roots and pull it though the ends. I usually have to do this 2-3 times to get the whole head done and then I spend another few minutes just gently rubbing my scalp and either finger combing or regular combing depending on how knotty it is that day (but this helps to make sure the product is spread evenly which is key for thick afro hair). I usually wear my hair in 2 large cainrows so I do those, tie a silk scarf and jump in the shower. By the time I’m dressed I whip off the scarf and I’m good to go. This works even better at night. I sometimes do the same at night and have a soft afro the next day. It really is a product that allows me to get the most out of hair as it is, rather than trying to define some mystical elusive curl patter that just doesn’t exist for me. It just simply keeps my afro hair soft and easy to manage. The palm-rubbing thing is really important though. If I use too much it just creates build up and my hair becomes impossible to manage. I use this either daily or every 2-3 days depending how dry my hair feels.

I received the wrong product in the post yesterday which is why I've given it lower stars. As you can see the kids curling butter cream has the wrong label on it. However, previously I have used the the curl enhancing smoothie and it works fine on my curls - im middle eastern so I have 2a,3c,3b curls. It provides it with more definition and I also scrunch in some curly styling gel to provide my curls with a bit more hold.

I love this product, it helps with the frizziness I have with my dry hair. The scent is gorgeous and you don't need to use much each time so it will last for ages! I would recommend.

Honestly, no exaggeration, this product is amazing! I can't praise it enough, I had dryness and I felt like my curls weren't popping, I used it just on a small portion of my hair to test it out not expecting such amazing results, it works in seconds, my curls just popped out, it gives shine, moisture and it smells so good, its worth every penny!
