I’ve always avoided pencils because I’d have to sharpen them & up to now my experience of sharpeners has been that poor that I’d always pick wind up pencils over those that need to be sharpened.Before I went away on holiday I had to buy a sharpener because I’ve bought a viral long wear eye liner which I could not get as a wind up version. I ended up losing it as soon as I got back so decided to get another but then saw this one & with it being a brand name figured maybe that’s where I’d been going wrong all this time.So I gave this one a shot & it’s brilliant. No longer are all my pencils breaking off every time I try to sharpen them. I can actually get a good tip on my pencils again & don’t have to resort to freezing them first.Worth the investment as it’s nice & tidy, doesn’t open in my makeup bag & fill it with shavings etc - very impressed.

Brilliant little sharpener, holds a lot of shavings and has stayed sharp for a long time. Cheap and useful.

I’ve tried many make up sharpeners and can never find one that sharpens all pencils. Have given four stars as I was a bit confused by which way you push the blade for what effect but after a few goes worked out which one works the way I want my pencil. Maybe a little instruction card would help with those like me! Love that it has an inbuilt pick, no more dirtying my nail scissors trying to get out snapped ends not that I’ve had any yet which is a great bonus to the sharpener.The case does open by itself but not that much and has yet to empty itself into my makeup case but worth a mention.Great price for a good sharpener, I’ve already recommended to friends.

If you have struggled with trying to sharpen your eye and lip pencils, only to have the end drop off and then many cross words, I do recommend this little sharpener. Very good price and works very well, bringing even soft pencils to a neat tip.

This is an excellent cosmetic sharpener and I've been able to use it on pencils which until now had been very difficult to sharpen without breaking or splitting. Choose the right end for your pencil, depending on whether it's a thick pencil or a thin one, and open the clear plastic cover to insert the pencil. The shavings are collected in the top part of the sharpener, and to empty them, you just open both ends and lift the centre clear cover off. There is a small metal bar which looks something like a screw running across the centre of the sharpener - this tilts a blade-protector so that you can choose whether you want the point of your cosmetic pencil to have a very sharp tip or a slightly blunter one. I suspect that if it was bashed about a bit (dropped etc) it might not last very long, but it's still a much better sharpener than you'd expect for the very low price.

Easy to use - although it did take me a little while to figure out how to open it as first!.. I like that it can be used for different sized pencils. I mainly use for my kohl eyeliners which can be quite soft. There has been no breakage of the 'lead' with this sharpeners which can happen with some sharpeners. Very happy with this product

It’s a plastic sharpener for under £ 4:00!! I found it excellent for sharpening, but the engineering of the shell case IS flimsy! Pay 3 times the price and be happy!
