I already bought the set together with the stand but wanted a spare.Great gadget especially if you don't want to spend ages in the kitchen.

Did the job
Replacement for a old friend which now sadly has holes in it. Does the job well making blackberry jelly.

Does the job perfectly
Was dubious about the size of the bag when first saw but it stretched and strained the fruit perfectly. Very easy to wash with no staining and it returned to it’s original size. Cannot fault value for money.

Not As Fine As Needed
I wanted this straining bag to remove the fruit from Gin/Vodka infusions. It dealt with the raspberry vodka and left it clear however with the rhubarb & ginger it was cloudy after straining and the following day there was visible sediment. Will need to find a finer mesh and re-bottle.

fell apart on first use. Seams went, large holes.
Hopeless thing. Very flimsy, far too long and stretched to ridiculous proportions so bottom was sitting on the pan, seams went straight away

They are strong
I make Redcurrant Jelly and use it to strain the fruit. I choose to discard the jelly bad after use, I do not attempt to clean it. Also they fit on any home made “ fitment” for straining.
