Good board game especially for kids who like action films, superheroes, gaming, etc.
It's a very simple game that is about 50% luck 50% mild strategy. Quick to finish, in about 20 mins usually, game's done. Obviously this will suit some and not others. For my kids, who don't have very long attention spans, it's perfect. Lots of replay value. Since we got this game, it's the only one they bring out whenever they want to play a board game. The components are all very well-made - vibrant and multi-coloured, card pieces made of very strong, thick card, playing cards are laminated with a glossy sheen, and the plasticky bits aren't flimsy or tacky. The instructions are printed on good glossy paper and in colour. I am impressed with how well-made the materials are, so I feel it is worth the £25 odd that it costs. For what the game is, it can seem expensive, but it does come made with quality materials. Will certainly last many hours of play with primary-school-aged kids. Cannot even compare to the quality of materials for monopoly for instance.I'm not sure this would really appeal to as many adults. It would probably appeal more to kids who like action films, monsters, superheroes, gaming, etc. Not so much for kids who aren't into such things. It is a nice board game to take the kids off wanting screen time for a bit... for us, it turned out to be a good buy.

Great game for both kids and adults
I had known of this game for years as I often saw it at board game nights, but had never actually played it myself. It came highly rated on both Amazon and Board Game Geek so decided to give it a go.Our first game was with two adults and two kids (recently turned 7 and 9yo). I took a little bit of time reading the rules beforehand, so we could get straight into playing. The rules were fairly clear, the bits that seemed confusing (mainly the leaving Tokyo mechanic) made sense quickly once we started playing. My kids have grown up playing games, the other adult we played with is not a gamer, and everyone was quick to understand the game. The first game took us quite a while, but in my experience that’s normal for new games where none of the players have played before. I imagine subsequent plays will come in closer to the 30 minute mark predicted on the box.We love the artwork of this game, it’s very evocative and my kids were very enthusiastic about picking their characters and play-acting with them. The components feel high quality and fun to play with. The power cards make the game really interesting and will ensure good replayability. One final thing I like about the game is that it has a small footprint, i.e. it doesn’t take over a whole table. To sum up: simple gameplay, good for kids & adults, interesting mechanics, great artwork, quick playtime & small footprint.

A favourite game for our family. I've bought it as gifts for others many times as well.

Great game!
I gave that as a gift to a friend and we play it very often. There is a learning curve to get all the rules but it goes smoothly after that. I strongly recommend!

Great family game
Bought this game as something else to do in lockdown with my rambunctious 6yo. What a thoroughly excellent purchase! Really easy to learn (plenty of youtube vids if you find it easier seeing it played), even for my son. Fast paced and exciting gameplay, short attention span friendly, fabulous artwork. Kiddo wanted to play again straight away and is still asking for more. Also a fun game for adults, maybe not for the hardcore board gamers but it's a great casual game to play with friends.
