Handsome and hard working
If you are looking for something handsome and hardworking to help out in the kitchen then this is the fella for you. Mine arrived today, earlier than promised so well done Amazon, and after a quick flick through the instructions I was at it. I was amazed at the amount of juice actually. I imagined that it would be a couple of thimbles worth per fruit but no. One apple, one pear and a carrot gave me a large tumbler full and it was delish. I found that combo quite sweet so feel confident that I can start adding in veg quite easily and still find it readily palatable.Cleaning up was fine. I rinsed the parts right away and had no trouble there.I am really looking forward to lots more healthy homemade juice, however, I appreciate that this machine is not a miracle worker and there is a lot more to being healthy than pulverising the odd banana. To fully benefit I also have to review my exercise regime and other lifestyle choices. For example I am sitting here eating a large toblerone whilst I write this. Oh well, one step at a time eh. :)Update Aug 2014 - The issues I have with this juicer are1) there are a lot of parts to clean. Most of them just need a rinse but the mesh filter needs a proper scrub and over time I have not been able to get it fully clean.. On a occasion the thought of cleaning up has put me off making the juice2) The juicer has settings 1 to 5 and also an alternative part for soft fruit. I find it hard to remember which fruit should go on which setting. Get it wrong and your fruit does not juice and ends up in the waste bucket.3) I always felt uneasy throwing the pulp away. I felt even worse about this after reading that drinking fruit juice was as bad as drinking fizzy drinks as without the fibre, fruit is simply sugar water which the body can't deal with. This week I have bought a Nutribullet. I love it and it solves all of the above issues. Whole fruit, veg, nuts and power powders go in, so you are drinking all of the fibre and seeds which contain lots of the nutrients. You can see it in action on teleshopping channels. It blasts everything up for a smooth juice drink. Then, the only things to rinse are the blade, easy, a rinse under the tap, and the cup once you've finished your juice. I got mine on Amazon at nearly half the price of the Sage juicer.Oh yes, 4 th benefit, it takes up a lot less space.

A juicer that meets all expectations
Wanting a juicer was not a new experience for me but I was always put off by the amount of time needed to clean the machine. Having read reviews of the Brevell (Sage) Juicer I decided to buy the Nutri Juicer Plus. What a machine. Its fast, powerful and with the additional grating disc very versatile, producing both juices and friut smoothies with little mess and the big plus for me is The Nutri Juicer plus is cleaned and re assembled within 5 minutes, heaven! The variable speed allows more juice to be obtained from fruits and vegetables. If there is a limitation it is with leafy vegetables which do process but with limited results compared to masticating machines but this is a problem with the extraction process and not the machine itself.A nice looking machine, well disigned, quieter than most in operation. The advertised machine has an embossed Sage label which is not the case the label is a transfer. You don't buy a Rolls Royce because it has a lady on the front.I would recommend this to anyone, yes, it cost more than most but in this case you certainly get what you paid for.

A great juicer!
I wanted something that juices pretty much anything, and this fits the bill. Anything that it cant juice (bananas, avocados...), u use the froojie disk on, and blend. I've juiced pretty much everything without issue, (for leaves compress between larger items and they juice fine). Note - not all items will leave you with dry pith. Tomatoes, pineapple, & grapes will retain more moisture in the pith due to their consistency. Don't buy a centrifugal juicer that disperses the pith immediately if you want dry pith for these. You do get a good amount of juice from each though. Everything else I've juiced, the pith is as dry as can be expected, and I've juiced pretty much everything, and anything. One of my concerns with buying this was how easy it is to clean, but cleaning is fast and easy. It takes between 2-5mins depending on what you have been juicing. The item looks the part and is really well made. I was amazed at the build quality when I unpacked it. I was reluctant to buy this after trying a Phillips but i'm really glad I did. The only downsides with this product, and the reasons I've given this 4 stars instead of 5 is that after using the product for some time the plastics lose their sparkle. They get loads of tiny scratches, and occasionally you get a large noise when putting items in the juicer that get caught between the disc and the feeder tube, this might have caused the seals to come apart between the feeder tube and the plastic top (minor gap at present). I'm going to keep an eye in this and request a replacement part if it gets any worse. That said, i've spoken to a friend who owns a philips and he's experienced similar issues minus the seal issue.
