Comes with a wooden block and a metallic coated plastic machine part as loads;The engine has two sets of wheels (each set containing 2 pairs of wheels) that are linked with two hooks in the middle to ease the cornering;My two and a half years old boy loves it. Mainly because of the machine load and the hooks. But I would have preferred it if it was battery-powered too.

I purchased this for my grandson and he is thoroughly enjoying playing with it . the added bonus that it looks very similar to one of my American locomotives that runs in my garden, which is SD 70 Mac. this is one of the reasons why he is having so much fun.

Brilliant Brio
I ordered this for my son, to go with the Brio Cargo Harbour Set that he already has. It is fantastic quality, and my little boy absolutely loves it. The locomotive and boxcars both have interconnected axles, so it stays on the track very well too. A worthwhile addition to any wooden train set.

3 year old birthday present
This and several other items were bought for 3 year old twins (a boy and a girl). Both were very happy. The product is well made and easy for them to assemble and change layouts etc. With the other items reviewed there are lots of combinations so boredom is not an issue. The delivery from Amazon was 2 days although I had selected the "free postage" option which is 3 - 5 days and the packaging was of the usual high standard. No complains on any aspect hence 5 stars.

Great train cars
Woahhhh, my nearly 4 year old loved this! We bought this for an Easter present rather than chocolate, fortunately he was delighted! Fits out wooden track perfectly and couples up to other wooden trains perfectly well. Great product.

Great train expecially the bagons which carry boxes
Great train expecially the bagons which carry boxes. My tree and a half son really enjoy it , he takes it with with everywhere. The problem is that now he wants all the brio world train which is it quiet expensive.
