Hos is this different from the Junior version? My 6yo can do the junior one so trying to find out if this is worthwhile or looking elsewhere

Can this be a game for adults?

It certainly can. The harder levels are challenging for any adult.

Can this be used on a journey - in a car on on a plane? Are the cars firmly fixed on the board as you slide them or could they fall off?

It's possible to use on a journey that has a table e.g. Train or plane, the, vehicles aren't firmly fixed as the game would work, it's more of one person game, my kids love it for holidays.
