Kinzua Environmental Fly-Zyme, Highly Concentrated Enzyme Drain Cleaner for Pipes, Drain Gel for Fruit Flies, Organic Waste Degrader & Odor Neutralizer, 1 Gallon

I had phorid flies in my studio apartment. Not many, but in a small apartment they were very noticeable and I swear they were taking up 99% of my mental capacity. I would go to sleep thinking about the flies and wake up still thinking about the flies. This worked very quickly. BUT YOU HAVE TO PUT OTHER TRAPS OUT TO CATCH THE ADULTS. I used Zevo light traps which were the best, and put out little tubs of apple cider vinegar with dish soap. This also helped me monitor the number of flies daily. I used the flyzyme twice a day in all of my drains, essentially any time I was able to let it sit for a few hours. I also used it for 10 days straight. By the end I had no more flies.

I have purchased this product 9 times since 2021. It did a great job of keeping my drain gnats away.I recently bought a new bottle and found that THEY CHANGED THE PRODUCT. The bottle was not full - and not because it leaked during shipment. The new bottle was tightly wrapped in cellophane and there were no signs of leakage. Additionally, the product itself has clearly been watered down. It used to be a very thick gel that would cling to the drain. Now it is a watery syrup. Clearly, the company is cutting corners, yet charging the same price. I doubt that the watery syrup will work as well as the thick gel.Update: Customer Service reached out to me immediately after my initial review. THEY REFUNDED MY ENTIRE PAYMENT, apologizing for my experience. They asked that I keep the product and assured me they have not changed the formula nor did they water down the product. I changed my rating to 5 stars for their outstanding customer service. I have always loved this gel. I’ve tried everything and this is the only thing that keeps my gnats under control. It also has a very pleasant smell. They won me over with the best customer service I have ever experienced on Amazon.

Didn’t work at all for me.Updated: I was really disappointed that this didn't work, even after following the instructions for 5 days. I was super impressed with their customer service though. The company contacted me and offered me a full refund which I really appreciated. I changed my review to three stars just off the quality of the customer service.

Seems to have worked with repeated treatments and external glue traps. Within a week or so I got a horrible infestation under control that had been a problem for a month.

I travel a lot, so I am away from home often. I developed a nasty case of drain flies for months. Nothing I did worked - bleach, vinegar, covering drains. I finally caved and bought this begrudgingly due to the price. But oh my gosh - it worked after one application! I pour a glug down each drain (so easy to use and no overly strong smell), left for a week and those peasky flies were 100% gone. I still have half the jug left in case it happens again, but it's been weeks and I'm still fly free. Now that I know it was a one time purchase, and not getting stuck in a loop of having to repurchase, I would buy again - great value!

Save ur money. Does not work. Used a gallon and a half and even let it sit for over a day

Used this according to directions last summer and got rid of the gnats coming from my kitchen sink drains. Then again this year (probably due to the summer heat) the gnats reappeared and had to start reapplying. Again it has worked perfectly.

I have two sink drains that had think in them and smelled from time to time. I had tried boiling water, toilet bowl cleaner, chlorinated cleaners, vinegar with no success. I researched and bought this. I read the directions and it said 6 oz for 5 days in each drain and didn’t the math so I would run out prior to the treatment. So I did about 2 oz down each drain and one drain was clean and clear after two uses but the other wasn’t. I took a kettle of boiling water and it cleared the drain instantly with the use of this product when boiling water hadn’t worked previously. I will keep treating the drains for a few more days to be sure and follow up at the end with a lot of boiling water but this worked way better than expected. I didn’t think it would clear the gunk because my one drain was pretty gummed up. Will use again for sure.
