Replaced with same one we’ve had for decades and just wore it out. These are great and safe for children to use & introduce them to cooking. Dishwasher safe & stores easily. The plastic is strong, the metal blades chop & slice fast & works well for nuts, carrots, celery and I like how the design allows for chopping onions protecting my eyes from tearing up. Love using it for garlic & chocolate too. Quality and makes great gift too. Considering I had it for decades before the price makes it worth it. Great value for the money.Highly recommend. I’ve not had any problems using it with my arthritic hands!!!

Great chopper, saves time and works great!

I’ve used a Pampered Chef Food Chopper for years over 15 years at home. Ordered this one for use when cooking when on the road in our motorcoach. It works well every time, is easy to clean and is made to last for years. Chopping onions is tear-free. I also use it to chop nuts and herbs. I had previously purchased another brand of food chopper and it was more than disappointing.

This is my third pampered chef chopper. I use it daily to chop walnuts for homemade oat breakfast . Also use it heavily for chopping onions, garlic and peppers while canning every fall. The clear plastic shield can crack with frequent daily use after a while. Sure wish I could just purchase a replacement clear plastic shield , but after trying other choppers, I find that the pampered chef chopper works best for my needs.

Had less than month and already broke on both sides of chopper. So disappointed. I had one from pampered chef that lasted over 30 years when finally broke, I replaced it with this one that lasted only 1 month!
