Pet Mate Cat Flap electronic access tag.
Our cat lost her collar somewhere, and with it her cat flap access tag.This was a direct replacement for the lost tag with an improvement being a clear adhesive cover for the part you write your cat's details on so it won't rub off.Instructions in the box on how to reprogramme the tag to sync with the cat flap. Very happy and delivery was pretty quick.

Works well with the right cat flap
Works well with the cat flap I’ve had installed, my cat is too young for a microchip so this gives her the chance to get use to the cat flap at a young age and learn the behaviour.Programming is down to your cat flap but mine did it in less than 30 seconds.

Work well and easy to fit
A bit big when fitted on the collar but work great.. bought 2 incase one got lost..

Works but expensive
Seems to work as it should but twice as expensive as the Sureflap tags. Quite large for something so small within!

Programmable
Much cheaper than tag kit originally used. Reason for this purchase was because our cat was constantly loosing them and became very expensive to replace from company who supplied cat flap. It's great to have another supplier at half the price so we can keep a stock

Also despite this saying it is for the elite only it works fine with my Cat Mate (not elite) flap

Massive medallion, looks so daft, makes lying down uncomfortable.
I bought this when my cat seemed to be having a problem triggering her catflap with her own chip. It works very well and seems to trigger the catflap reliably from a greater distance than the cat's chip. BUT, it's huge, hung on her collar, it looks ridiculous and she spent ages trying to shake it off. She might have got used to it, but I don't think that's fair. The plastic is translucent round the edge and the chip inside is much smaller than the disk so not sure why it has to be so massive. I've taken it off her, she's learning the knack with the flap, turns out it she is releasing the latch but it locks again too quickly while she's still sniffing round the outside!
