Good fit but ...
It was a good fit but it would have been better if it provided studs with it or bolts instead of just nuts and washers.

Worked for my Generator
It is true, none of the fittings from the plumbing section doesn't work for this (except nipples) so off I went to the electrical section and the galvanized couplings work. Screws in half way easy but after that some muscle power and tools but still won't go all the way so I deducted 1 star. Got no leaks so I'm happy.

Is not NPT THREAD.
Bought this because it said it was 1” NPT but you cannot get a 1” elbow or coupler to screw on to it. It looks like it should but will not start. NPT is a tapered thread, this piece is not tapered. It description went into a long dissertation about NPT and then it isn’t. Maybe someone should explain it to ti the seller! It gives you nuts to attach but the original studs are too long to use them. They should have given Allen bolts to attach it to.
