Fantastic turntable.
I was looking for an upgrade on my Ion all in one turntable which cost around £70 a few years ago.I did a bit of research which included going to a local hi fi shop which basically blinded me with superiority as they where clearly hi fi people! Basically they advised I would need to spend north of £350 to get a noticeable difference from my Ion. I couldn't justify spending that amount Vs how much I actually used it so did some research and found this turntable. The Amazon reviews as well as what hi-fi awarding it budget turntable of the year persuaded me into purchasing along with some active speakers Edifer R1280T so all in under £200.I main thing about the Turntable is quality, every detail of the design have clearly been well thought out and even the way it was packaged was clear quality.I think the sound is fantastic, it is beyond comparison to my previous Ion and I do really feel I have upgraded to a decent standard. If you want to spend serious money on set up you can but for me this met my needs and expectations perfectly at a decent price.

The best digital converter record player at this price.
Bought this record deck to convert my record collection to mp3. It has taken me since April until July to gradually convert over 200 12" records - so far so good. No problem & very easy to do even for a non tech person like myself. (just time consuming!!) The record deck looks really cool - bright red - but does gather dust when the lid is off & I'm cleaning my records as they spin round - so dust every now & then to keep that gleaming look! It works well & to an untrained ear like mine the sound is good - I have a medium quality amp & speakers (Sony). Time will tell how long the deck works for without problems but as I say so far so good. I'm happy & will recommend.

Absolutely brilliant! I've been using this turntable for almost a week and don't have a single complaint. Great colour, great quality and incredibly easy to connect to speakers. Don't worry too much about the little cable that comes with it; if you have a pair of speakers that have a 3.5mm jack, make sure to order a 3.5mm to RCA cable. They're less than £10 and work wonderfully well.

Great and very red vinyl player
I bought this for our newly decorated living room and linked it with some Edifier speakers. I'm not a fussy audiophile, but I do have standards and I think this sounds (and looks) very good to me.It is a bit plasticy feeling, but the build quality is definitely up to standard. My toddler had jabbed at it a few times without issue.I haven't used the USB ripping function - I just wanted a vinyl player - so no opinion on that. After quite a bit of research it seemed this was about the cheapest player I could get that wouldn't damage your vinyl. Had it about a year now and had no problems at all.

Easy to use
Only had a few weeks but it's a vast improvement on my last record player - a cheap all in one Philips job. Easy to use, I've linked to my Bose speaker with one audio cable for great sound (for an amateur collector like myself). Looks great too!

Lovely Turntable.
I am a vinyl veteran and recently invested in a good quality Pro-Ject turntable. My 13 year old daughter has also caught the vinyl bug and has been buying Gorillaz and Blur vinyl with any pocket money she's saved. We decided Santa should bring her a turntable and CD/amplifier system for her Christmas. She'd seen this turntable in HMV and had made her interest know. After reading reviews and watching YouTube videos we decided this was a good choice. It certainly was. This turntable looks magnificent but, more importantly, it sounds superb. Up and running in seconds and with the inbuilt preamp switched on the sound is top notch with plenty volume. The USB recording hasn't been used yet but, if anything, I'm the one who is excited about that prospect! This turntable performs to a level not far behind my Pro-Ject which is praise indeed.

Can't comment having not really seen it at its best.
Mine was bought has a used item and it was awful. Just buzzed from the word go. They do get good reviews though and I'm sure a new one would sound ok. But its still a budget deck after all.
