Urban Kanga Travel Car Seat Portable and Foldable Group 1 for 9-18 Kg Uptown (TV107) (Black)

Purchased this car seat so that my 2 year old boy could ride in the front of my car instead of just my wife’s. I wanted something portable and easy to instal and remove so day to day I can put it away. This product is superb, so unbelievably easy to instal - I just followed the video on the product info page and it was done in a couple of minutes. Fits so nicely and is really soft, my boy absolutely loves it! Highly recommended for loads of different uses even for something semi permanent as it’s clearly also really safe. Great product and value for money.

This car seat is perfect for a weekend break where the easiest solution is a short taxi ride from the airport. It folds quite small into its carrier bag which is sturdier than some of the other reviews suggest but I didn't feel entirely comfortable checking it as is so I put it in our usual car seat checked bag which has some padding. I also put a bag of nappies and a portable high chair in the car seat checked bag with it! The Urban Kanga is very easy to install in a car using the 3-point seat belt harness and it was comfortable enough that our 18-month old fell asleep for the 20 minute ride. It definitely is light enough that we could carry it around or put it under the pram if needed. I would not use this for every day as it is quite minimalist but it is perfect for travel or occasional use.

This item is lightweight and easy to install. We go abroad regularly and getting a taxi to the airport and taxi at the other end is no stress as we know our toddler is safe in this car seat. There is no reason to compromise your child's safety with this gadget. The only thing I would say is that this is only suitable for holidays, I wouldn't use it for our day to day life as it isn't as sturdy as the standard car seats you would have in your car but it's still worth investing in.

It looks good and I like the bag that comes with it; very practical. Very lightweight which is a bonus when travelling and you don't have to lug your main car seat to the airport. It was very easy to install in the car. It must have been comfortable as my child slept in it numerous times. So glad I was able to find a decent travel car seat as my child is less than 15Kg and I couldn't risk putting her in a car booster seat. One of the best products I have bought for my child in a long time.

This seat is great for travelling when doing transfers and short trips. It is very easy to install and my toddler likes it but he will not nap on it and it is quite upright. So if doing journeys that are more than 90 mins I would recommend taking a bigger seat but the kanga is excellent for travelling when cars are involved but they aren't the main mode of transport. I wouldn't do a road trip with one but it has been great for holidays where we hire a car for short distances but get there via train or plane.

I ordered this for my daughter and her partner who were going abroad and would be driving an old car so it had to be portable and front facing. It is perfect on both counts It’s very lightweight and comes with a carry case, very easy to fit, I suppose the only drawback is that it is upright so if they nod off in it the head lolls forward, so you had to physically put them in a more comfortable position. I now use it in my car for when I have my granddaughter, overall I’m really pleased with it .

This product is amazing! It arrived today and I am very impressed. We were going to hire a car seat whilst on holiday but the cost of hiring one for the 10 days was working out to be expensive. We paid only £20 more to get our own carry around car seat. It is easy to use and light! It is such a big weight off our shoulders to have this. And it is something we can use for jumping in Ubers in London which we haven't been able to do so far. This car seat takes the limits off travelling. I am very happy with my purchase!

My daughter complains about where the fastening sits on her thighs that it’s too tight and she’s uncomfortable. She’s 2.5 years old and average height and weight but no matter what we try she doesn’t seem comfortable in the chair.
