T3 400 Triton T3 400 Gram x 0.01 Digital Pocket Scale Black

I'm EXTREMELY happy with this awesome little device! Amazingly steady little performer...I give it 5 stars but I found a couple of minor issues that I would consider minor nuisances... The first is the automatic shut off(1 minute) which is too fast and really should be optional. It has caught me out a few times even while still adding drops of flavour to my e-juice recipes! However, as I got used to it, I have adapted by occasionally giving a little tap on the weighing tray to make sure the little guy isn't falling asleep while I'm still slowly adding liquids to my bottles... 😉The 2nd issue is the slightly indistinct battery compartment locking. It's NOT really an issue (as of yet) but I found that the battery lid isn't 100%... There isn't a distinct click when you slide it shut. However, with a LIFETIME (pretty much) AMERICAN manufacturer's warranty, it's not a Biggie LOL!My last little issue would be the slight delay experienced when I add drops of flavour... I might have to add 0.03 grammes of the liquid to be weighed (2-3 drops) before the scales catch up at the start... This isn't an inaccuracy, just a slight delay of maybe a second or so. My guess is that it's caused by the very stable digital weighing algorithm which keeps the scales from being too sensitive to slight ambient disturbances like my breathing on the scales etc.Generally speaking that is a great feature and I quickly got used to working with that in mind... The mixes I make are weighed down to the individual drop of liquid, so I've quickly got used to how much each drop weighs and I'll already know when I'm about done with each ingredient!The TARE function, to set the scales to zero between ingredients or after adding my bottles initially, is FLAWLESS! The scales also automatically starts up by doing a TARE if you already have something on the weighing tray...The POSITIVES far outweigh (pardon the pun) the small nuisances mentioned above!I'm still running this little beauty (for well over a month) without having done a single CALIBRATION on it... It just doesn't seem necessary! I bought 2x 200g weights separately, but I haven't used them yet...(IMPORTANT: You need 2 separate 200g weights if you want to calibrate it).Finally, the rugged exterior and general design of this unit is very SEXY and the magnetic locking of the lid (and detachable tray, if needed) is superb!I'm looking forward to finding an excuse to put this little guy in my pocket and taking "him" (her?) out for some weighing away from home! 😎I warmly recommend this scale (or one of the others by this manufacturer)! 👍👍

The scale is crazy precise and does the job

I use mine for weighing components for my radio controlled model aircraft. The first one I bought was not measuring consitantly (non-linear change in weight reading when tested with different test weights). I have a range of calibration weights allowing me to test in 5g increments as well as the two 200g weights you need for this. I had this scale replaced and I've now been using my new one for several months.You will need two 200g weights to calibrate this. It did actually come accurately calibrated for me. Using two weights gives it a very good advantage over other scales that only use one. Two weights means the scale corrects itself for any non-linear variation in its weighing of the large 400g range (large for a 0.01g scale).Tough case. The lid does detach to act as a larger tray (surprisingly useful); however it's a little awkward to get in back on sometimes.Very good scale, but of course get the required calibration weights as well.

Well I can review this product correctly as I’ve had a set previously to this order and I can say these scales last a life time, accurate and easy to use out the box. I would say using by the window or in windy conditions would affect your weighing although I only encounter this problem stood by a fully open window

Great scales especially as the lid comes off easy so you can use it to weigh more things, very sturdy, would buy from again.

does as supposed to do & does it well.

I read some mixed reviews on this scale however the majority seemed to be good so I decided to take the risk only to be disappointed when it arrived.The base of the scale that I received was warped which meant that the battery cover is extremely loose. In addition to this one of the other features I liked about the scale was that the lid is removable, however when lid is attached to the scale it is extremely loose as well and slides from side to side.It’s shame because this scale it could have been very good for the price but the obvious lack of quality control at the factory has really let this product down.

Amazing set of great quality scales,tough and robust will easily survive a drop and the quality is unreal unlike any other scale I've used and they turned up 3days early, well worth the money for a lifetime tool
