Best and brightest!
Best headlamp I have bought so far! This thing is super bright and holds a charge so well! I really appreciate the charge status indicator it gives when you turn it off.

Yup
This headlamp is bright and charges fast. Superior value for the wintertime barn work

recharger isn't worth anything
very good head light I don't use the recharger because it doesn't last long.

Very bright and nice light
Love the different settings. Highest setting is definitely bright but drains battery. I use for work and climbing. Very durable and light.

Running headlamp
I live on back country roads. The battery life is great and love that it is rechargeable. I run in the rain and is waterproof , great light and visibility to others. I have tried other styles and brands. This is the best quality one I have used. Great value for my money.

Super Bright!
I like the subtle glow for a few moments after it's switched off. (a plus in a tent) The white diffuser carry bag is a neat idea to turn the lamp into a lantern. (also great for a tent) The included charging cord for the rechargeable battery is only about 12" which is more than plenty long so it doesn't crowd up the carry bag. Speaking of the carry bag....It has a neat design that I've never seen. Simple drawstring to close, but then two sewn plastic looking wings, when gently pulled, give the smoothest open. A lot of detail was thought out by Petzl on the quality of this light. Did I say Super bright!

Great for out in the yard at night.
This is our second Petzl Actik headlamp, not sure why it took us three years to get a second one. The first one is still like brand new, but we both have one now. Super convenient for tasks at night in the yard - going out with the dogs, picking up unwanted slugs in yard, checking out a noise outside, etc.. Once you have one you will not go back to a flashlight, just so much better when you have both hands free. We really like the three way brightness switch. Well made, easy to adjust on head.

Not worth the price. Doesn't match the hype.
I have heard so much praise of Petzl from backpackers. Now I wonder if it's just a fad thing. This light is just lackluster for the price. The battery uses micro SD to charge. It takes FOREVER to fully charge. The battery life is not that long. It's not that bright. The clip that adjusts the strap pops out constantly when it's in my bag, so I have to dig around for the little piece.I got this because it has a removable battery that's rechargeable. I figured I could bring multiple batteries on a trip with me but I would rather use my Nitecore NU25 which cost half the price, even with the issue I had with the Nitecore.
