Noctua NT-H2 3.5g AM5 Edition, Pro-Grade Thermal Compound with Thermal Paste Guard for AMD AM5 CPUs incl. 3 Cleaning Wipes (3.5g)

A relative's pre-built PC with a 7800X3D was exhibiting really high CPU temps, easily spiking to 89-90°C on the package within seconds during Cinebench, so I bought this to see if the thermal paste was the issue on the Corsair AIO.The thermal paste and guard were very easy to install. The included wipes made cleaning the CPU easy. The paste itself was simple to apply, not runny like some pastes, and didn't require much force to dispense from the tube. The thermal paste application guide included in the box was great too, as I'm not familiar with the AM5 heat spreader (wasn't sure if just a simple pea sized dot would do, for example). The paste ended up bringing the package temp down to a comfortable 81-82°C under load, so I'm very happy with it.

I’m using it on my 7800x3d with a noctua dh-15 cooler and does the job. Temps are well within parameters.

Noctua's reputation for fantastic fans and coolers is well known but they don't get enough credit for some of their other products and accessories. The Thermal paste comes in a good quantity and is easy to use, but the real stars are the wipes and frame. The wipes are quicker, easier and cleaner than using Iso alcohol work fantastically.The plastic AM5 frame is also a brilliant piece of ingenuity. You can get similar AM5 contact plates that help avoid messy paste, but this doesn't need any additional application, it just slots over the CPU and you put your cooler on top of it. Despite being plastic it is designed to stay on after application!

Good paste, thick but spreads well. Absolutely terrible nozzle though, not the best if you want to be overly precise when applying it.

I used this to replace stock paste from AIO always used this brand the only one I trust to use very happy with the results.

Bought a brand new gaming rig and paid to have it built. 7800x3d, and an rx240 aio - was surprised at 70° idle temps and hitting thermal limits under load.This paste was easy to apply, and the plastic guard fitted perfectly over the AM5 chip. Used an X shape squeeze of paste, and have plenty left if future applications are needed.Temps are now 35-40° idle, and 72-75° under load

Wipes make clearing older paste off your CPU / cooler easy, unlike the Arctic ones the Noctua don't have a fragrance to them that some people find overwhelming. Paste was easy to use and doesn't require spreading following the Noctua instructions, the supplied shield leaves you with 0 worry about paste getting elsewhere.

Good enough but needs reposting after a year or so. Eventually I swapped out for Honeywell PTM7950 that dropped temps by an average of 10C and has a service life of a few years before needing replacing
