It's perfect, exactly like the picture
I wanted something simple, without mouse pad, wrist rests, pockets, plugin ports, etc. This is perfect. I use it for my reading tablet. I had been simply propping the tablet up on pillows, but that was getting uncomfortable. I have the tablet sitting in a small stand to hold it upright, then that sits on the desk on my lap. It's a perfect size for the tablet and for your forearms on either side. The little phone slot is nice, even though I originally didn't think I would use it. I dont need the little stop rail on the bottom, but it's not in the way or inconvenient. The foldout cushion on the bottom is great. At first I thought it was one solid flat cushion, and then remembered the center piece folds out. It has 2 little loops that attach to buttons on the other side, so you then have an elevated surface that holds the tablet at a convenient position for reading. This is very comfortable and sits lightly on your lap. It's not heavy enough to make your legs warm and sweaty when using for a long time.I wish I had ordered this a long time ago. It's perfect for reading in bed or sitting on the couch.

Exactly what I need. Great features, quality, and price.
Perfect size for my laptop or completing paperwork. It's lightweight, attractive, and sturdy. The fold-out elevating wedge creates the perfect ergonomic angle. I love the slot for holding my phone and the bungie for holding my pen when not in use. With all of this perfection, you top it off with a very affordable price!

Good, With a Few Flaws
First impression was: Wow, this thing is light! Is it sturdy enough? And yeah, I think it is. And being light is a plus, I suppose.Functionally, it works OK for me. But, since there's not a stop for the mouse, it tends to slide off the desk. So, I use it reversed, with the bumper to keep laptop for sliding off in the back. This has two advantages: 1., The desk sits more level in my lap because the cushion, which is higher in the back and angled, now places the taller side of cushion on the front; and 2., the bit of elastic strap that's in the upper left corner of desk now sits in the lower right corner and prevents mouse from sliding off, though mouse doesn't tend to slide around now cuz desk sits level.Just so you know, I leave the cushions in place, not folding the middle bit back to create more of an angle, raising that back of desk another couple of inches or so.The bumper at front of desk, meant to prevent laptop from sliding off, is useless since most laptops have rubber feet that don't tend to slide. I find it a nuance. I removed it so I could place my laptop further back on the desk--a better position for me. And why is there no bumper for the mouse that's supposed to slide? Not that I would need it for the way I'm using the desk. Also, I suppose a number of folks like having a slot for their phone but, for me, this is just in the way. I want a lap desk for my laptop, for heaven's sake. I don't need it to be a multi-tool.So yeah. The desk is decently made and the all-black version I bought is nicely obtrusive.

Just in time
I love this little desk. I work remotely. Often times, I prefer to sit in a more comfortable chair as I work. I used to keep my laptop in my lap but after a while, it'd start heating up and it became a pain. I bought this desk seeking a practical, portable, and affordable solution. This desk solves all of those things! I can comfortably rest my 15.6in laptop on it and my phone. Also, there's a little groove to store pens. It's also very lightweight. It feels like a heavier pillow with a desk surface built on top of it. It would be easy to carry for travel. It reminds of desks they use in schools so it's perfect if you're teaching your kids at home. What I love the most is that you don't have to put anything together. I HATE ordering products that come in pieces. Often times things like that never get used or I'll end up returning them. This desk arrives out of the box ready to use. I would highly recommend it especially if you have a laptop or phone that gets hot easily.

Love this Laptop Desk
I had one given to me and loved it so much I bought another one to use in our winter home. Comfortable with padded bottom and moveable cushion for propping up on a slight. There is an area to hold your phone or put pens in. I have a 14" laptop and plenty of room for my mouse. It also has a block so the laptop will not slide off the edge. Good to use for a small lap desk if you aren't using your laptop.

It’s great—but it and move on
I admit to having spent a ridiculous number of hours deliberating about these stupid things. An equally obsessed friend told me she bought this and it was a “game changer,” so I bought it. She wasn’t wrong. This thing is great and seems well made. I like the little corner elastic strip for attaching a small clip-on light as well as for its intended use of sticking a paper underneath it to secure. The pen slot is deep and narrow enough that my pen-stealing dog can’t see the pen or remove it and run off down the hall with his ill-gotten goods.

Just what I needed!
I like to raise up my laptop but also keep it on a sturdy a flat surface to keep it from overheating. This tray works well since it can both be flat, but also tilted forward. The phone holder is nice, too. I don't use a mouse but the tray is very wide, so it's a good place to put other things, even your phone. The phone holder only goes on the right side, so if you want it on the left you can still do it, just not in the holder.I don't use the elastic band at all, but if it doesn't get in the way at all if you don't need it.
