Unlike the little pool thermometers that give you a half inch of red liquid to try to tell the difference between 80 degrees and 90 degrees, this little battery powered gem seems indestructible, accurate and easy to use. The remote -read works great and its nice to know the pool temp without going out and having to pull a floating thing out of the middle of the pool.

I bought this so we could monitor the pool temperature from our media room. So far its working as advertised. The receiver is about 60 feet away from the floating temperature probe and readings are accurate and reliable. The extra bonus is that it also gives you an inside temperature reading.

I had one of these pool thermometers for two years before the sensor went bad. I ordered this as a replacement but after one month, it quit working. I contacted Inkbird and they very quickly resolved the problem by sending me a new thermometer. Great product, even better customer service.

The pool thermometer worked great. Loved having the receiver in the house so we could see the pool temperature anytime we wanted without having to walk outside to the pool to check. But we bought this a year ago come July and in the last week the thermometer quit working. Receiver still works but no thermometer.

It works great. I have the unit inside the pool, and the remote view unit 45 feet away, inside the house. The thermometer is as accurate as the analog thermometer that I still have in the pool.

We love this we bought a second as a gift. Works great for two years and still going strong. We love knowing the temperature of the water and the temperature in our room everyday from the kitchen. Easy to set up works all the time

UPDATE - ISSUE RESOLVED. I contacted the seller and they suggested a fix that did not work so they shipped me a new replacement unit. It is working fine. Hope this one will last longer than the previous unit. Seller was very accommodating and quick to respond. I would rate 5 but due to problem with the first unit I am rating lower.UPDATE: This item worked well for less than two months. Now it has stopped working. My comments below were accurate at the time but the unit has stopped working and a deeper look at low rated reviews shows others with similar results. I have notified Amazon and will wait to see what their response is. Perhaps Amazon or the Seller will replace the broken unit and I will update this review accordingly if the unit is replaced.I have had a couple of traditional thermometers that float in our pool. We live in south Florida and the pool is open year round. The traditional thermometers worked well for awhile until the chlorine and Sun bleached the numbers off the scale. Also, you had to retrieve the floating thermometer to read it. This unit has large easy to read digital numbers showing on the top that can be easily seen. Plus the transmission of the temperature to the remote receiver that we keep in the house provides a constant at a glance reading of the water temperature. We are very pleased with this unit. It was also very easy to setup.
