Hynes Eagle Travel Compression Packing Cubes Expandable Packing Organizer 3 Pieces Set Purple

I just took two sets of these on a month-long trip to the Galapagos and other places abroad, with multiple packings and unpackings. I'm a seasoned traveler and I don't know why I didn't get something like this long ago. It was so easy to keep organized and find things, which I'm not great at otherwise. I put some thought into how I packaged items, and kept those consistent over the trip so I wouldn't forget how to fit things into the packed suitcase. Once I set up the system, I could use the same 'puzzle piece' approach to pack the suitcase and it went very fast.I purchased several brands of compressing cubes, but I liked these the most, and I'm glad I chose them. They are strong, hold a huge amount of stuff, and are a very pretty color besides.The bags' best feature, in my mind, is that they are virtually weightless. That means I'm not adding a couple of pounds so that I can be more organized. The mesh tops allow you to see what's inside of each bag, a nice feature. There is a small handle that you can use to grab or carry the bag, which I thought would be a nice feature but I ended up never using it.The only problem I had was that once a garment was dirty, I didn't want to put it back into the same container as clean ones, so I ended up using a large bag for dirty items. This did change the overall configuration of the suitcase somewhat, but everything still fit. I would suggest adding a plastic bag to the dirty clothes bag because the mesh does allow some of the um, fragrance of the dirty clothes to come though. You may not have an issue with this, but I was dealing with mud, rainforest sweat, and lots of sand, so act accordingly.Some people complain of the zippers getting stuck. It's your own fault if they do, frankly. Just like a lot of other zippered items, you need to pay attention to not getting material in the pathway of the zipper. I had no problem, but then my mom taught me how to zip up a sleeping bag by putting my finger under the zipper to push the fabric away. Try it.

Update March 2019: 9 months later and several trips under my belt with these bags. I have taken these camping and everywhere else in between. We just returned from a month long jaunt through Colorado, Wyoming, oregon, California, and Canada for winter snowboarding and family trips. They are holding up fantastic and this last trip a bottle of conditioner exploded but my cloathes were perfectly protected inside of these cubes. People need to realize that the “compression” zipper is really meant to reign in the cubes extra fabric when packing light and isn’t really meant to compress the clothes, as realistically nothing can actually do that especially when packing jeans and other rigid fabrics. Imagine trying to squeeze into a pair of pants two sizes too small, it just isn’t going to happen and more jeans are being made stretchy and elastic to compensate and that same principal applies to packing cubes they are only so stretchy and people need to learn to pack less and more realistically.Update June 2018: I just returned from a month long trip through three countries and i can’t recconend these enough! They actually do save a lot of space contrary to other reviews. These saved me so much time when having to change hotels every 24-48 hours. None of the hotels had drawers or dressers so these made accessing cloathes and re packing a pleasurable experience. They also helped separate my clean clothes from the dirty ones and I really liked the mesh which helped my cloathes breath when sometimes packed still slightly damp from washing. I bought some new cloathes while traveling and eventually had to fully unzip the compression zippers to allow enough room for the extra items. I stuffed these bags full and the zippers and seams held. I will never travel without these on any trip domestic or international. My only issue was that the set didn’t come with 4 cubes.I haven’t traveled with these yet but they are packed and ready for a month long trip through Asia. I bought these because I wanted something light weight, flexible, has a compression zipper (which just takes in the extra slack around the sides), has a breathable mesh, offers 3inch side wall when fully expanded which this preventing cloathes from falling out when you open it. I really like that I can fully unzip the lid and just place it into a drawer without having to unpack anything. I wish this set came with two small bags. I wanted something aesthetically pleasing and I really like the color.In the large I fit 12 or more shirts, the medium has 4 pairs of pants and I plan to pack one light weight but long dress and another pair of pants in there, the small has 3 pairs of socks, 6 bras, and 6 pairs of underwear. I have the small fully loaded and stressing the seams and the compression zipper still works fairly easy. These are great quality and better than I expected I can’t foresee the seams breaking on me any time soon, unlike the set I bought my husband.

These made packing and unpacking so much easier. However, we rolled everything as advised, & I have to admit my clothes were somewhat wrinkled.. It didn't matter much as we were on a casual vacation, so they worked great for us. The bonus was everything fit in the carry-on and was nicely organized.

I love packing cubes. They keep a suitcase so organized, and make it easy to live on the road. These are great. I've had no issues with the zippers. The bags are very lightweight but not flimsy. I washed them before use and they came out perfectly. There has been no fraying or deterioration in the many months I've used them. After starting with plain cubes, I switched to compression style - and there's no going back. Highly recommended.

These were fantastic for travel, the separate ones made it super easy to separate kids clothing and made plenty of room to pack both of my children’s clothes in one bag. It created a lot more space in each bag. Two zipper system let’s you load clothes in and then use the second zipper to close it tighter. We fit so much stuff in them and the quality was incredible.

Bought a set these for me and my husband for a trip. These were so helpful keeping my suitcase organized! They were very roomy, I was surprised! I was able to fit all of my swimsuits and coverups in one, under clothes and pajamas in another and all of my shorts and T-shirts in the third. I also just simply placed the open bags in the drawers when unpacking. My clothes never had to touch the drawers in our room. You do have to be a little careful when zipping that it doesn’t get caught but it wasn’t anything different from using any other zipper. I would definitely recommend.

These were a lifesaver while trying to pack 5/6 days worth of clothes in only a carry on. The smallest of the bags is still spacious enough to fit a good amount of clothes- I usually use it for swimsuits, undergarments etc. The largest is big enough for jeans, light sweaters, pants etc.

These are my go-tos. As a frequent traveller and expat, you sometimes need space but have the weight. I was able to condense so much of my clothes into this during a recent move that my bag ended up being too heavy and nearly my entire wardrobe was in it.Very durable, I have been using regularly for years and they are still good as new! I love that I am able to organize everything as well.
