This fan has a large blade so it does move a decent amount of air, just you are not going to notice it as far away, as is the case with smaller fan blades. I found that having their twin blade smaller model which you can feel more than 3ft away blow at this fan across the stove moves an impressive amount of air. Seen people in reviews say stove top fans are just for looks but this set up definently is not. I tried other brands and was not impressed at all, but these are quiet and seem very reliable thus far.

Fan circulates air fast and doesn't take much heat to start up. Only minor complaint is if you don't have it perfectly positioned, it rattles when the stove gets hot as it spins faster.

Had this for a little over a week now. It started almost as soon as I set it on my wood burning stove. It’s not a powerful fan but it will move some heat around. My basement felt significantly warmer after I had this fan going. No details yet on how long it will last but it seems to be fairly high quality and I anticipate it lasting a long time.

I bought this mosty for looks. It looks more like a propeller than the others. It doesn't seem to move much air.

Works great. The dimensions work perfect for the skinny shelf of my stove insert and it seems to move a descent amount of air in the room

Love this, great air flow but takes a lot of heat to get it started.
