AC Infinity AIRFRAME T7-N Black, High-Airflow Cooling Fan System 17", Intake Airflow, for AV Equipment Rooms, Closets, and Enclosures

If these came in a brushed nickel or brushed stainless look that would be an awesome addition to the black and white. I bought both an exhaust and an intake fan to cool AV equipment in a closet with 8-foot doors. Fans look great, are well-made, and have thus far proven to be quite effective. The temperature probe and "EXT" leads aren't long enough for the lower intake fan in my application in an 8' closet door. I'd like to use the EXT of the exhaust fan which has the temp probe on ceiling to control the intake so I may end up making a longer cord at some point. The documentation on the "EXT" control makes it pretty obvious that even though it's a 4-conductor plug out, it terminates in only 2 in for power On/Off and cannot vary the speed on the second fan to match. The site says that the "S" fans made for this aren't available but "T" fans can be used as well. On the one hand that seems like the speed control would be wasted, but on the other, these fans are priced such that that's probably a non-issue. If you have a closet in which you need a cooling solution, these are awesome and beyond reasonably priced. Highly recommended. Minor warranty issue on non-functioning temp probe was handled quickly and effectively.

We used this and the exhaust for a small IT Closet. Prior to installation the temperature would get up to mid 80s. Now the temperature stays around 75. Easy to install. The cord to connect the 2 fans together is a little short. Our ceiling are high and we were about 2' short of connecting. We will be adding these fans to all our IT Closets.

It's been over a month now, and I feel it's time to share my thoughts on this product. First, the design of this is without a doubt the best in it's class right now that you can find anywhere. Second, the controls and display, is more than what is necessary for my purposes. Third, the airflow is definitely what I was looking for, and it is relatively quieter than other similar products that I have bought in the past. Lastly, the price is a little more expensive than other fans but you get what you pay for as they say. Although in the future, I believe I will be trying their smaller version of this and slightly less expensive.

Installed easily, it runs quietly, keeps a small closet cool. DOES WHAT IT WAS SUPPSOED TO! How refreshing...

I have an equipment rack which is not fully enclosed, but was having cooling issues with my media room computer. The computer exhaust would stagnate against the wall and the computer would get extremely hot under load. The wall would heat up to about 130 F. I installed to fan into the wall to suck out the computer's exhaust air and this made a world of difference. Now my CPU idle temp and temps under load have dropped about 15 degrees.

LCD screens on this model and another both failing. Soon after warranty period.

When you see the description, picture & price you think you are purchasing a AC. You are actually purchasing a fan that's so small it cannot possibly cool anything except a closet, & I don't mean a walk in closet. Not worth the money.

In my hydroponics system, it's within a closet in my house. The grow light (150W) generates quite a bit of heat. However with the auto and smart mode this fan comes with, it does a great job at keeping the temperature down as long as you have an exhaust in as well!
