Excellent Product! Highly Recommend
I think this would make an excellent gift for anyone who reads/studies books. The quality is impeccable. It’s is constructed of high quality wood and other materials. The cushion is very comfortable and practical for use just about anywhere. It has a convenient carrying handle and an awesome storage feature that lets you store your book (depending on how small it is), pens, notebooks, highlighters or anything else you may need. This holds books of many sizes in place very well. The reading angle can be adjusted to suit many preferences. There is even a slot for a highlighter or pencil so maybe even good for someone who is journaling by hand. I use it to study. I purchased it for myself and have used it consistently without issue ever since.

PERFECT reading tool for someone with arthritis/hand pain who reads on a couch or recliner
As someone with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and a lot of hand/finger pain, I can’t hold books up to my face anymore to read, but I also have neck pain so I can’t crane my neck to look down at a book. Additionally, I’m most comfortable on the couch or my recliner (so book holders that sit on a table or desk are not the best fit for me). This tool is PERFECT. I use it every day now! It works with small books, large heavy hardcover books, you name it!You can adjust it to so many angles that it works if I’m reclined, or sitting straight up. The cushion part on my lap is comfortable and doesn’t budge, the little metal peices hold even my biggest books in place. It’s not too big or too small- and if you lay it flat (along with the little shelf that holds the book) you can use a laptop on it as well. The quality is really great- nice and sturdy, looks and feels nice. Only regret is not purchasing this sooner!

Comfortable
Very functional and comfortable on my lap for reading. My Bible sits well in an angle and the prongs holds the page securely. The storage underneath holds my pens, pencils and highlighters well. I just love it!! Made well. The only thing is the handle is not very well made to carry if you place a book underneath the storage area. May tear off the handle because of weight

Very sturdy well made
Received today. A bit pricey but I see why. There are some great features in this one. The arms that hold your pages in are a bit flexible so they can fit your particular book. The arms fold down if you don't need them. The construction is quality. It closes with a magnet so it will stay closed. The notches to elevate the reading stand are wooden. There is nothing flimsey about it. It looks good. The tilt only goes from about 45 degrees to flat. I would have liked it to be a bit more verticle as the bottom of the page is hidden by the lip holding the book/paper/tablet. It has 5 settings of tilt.Overall this reading stand is solid, made with MDF which gives it weight. It is a hefty box with the bottom covered in a cushion. It will sit securely on a flat surface. I don't see this thing getting knocked over without significant force. There is a recessed pen/stylus holder near the top. The inside has a wonderfully convenient compartment for glasses, pens, any items you might want stowed at a desk.I took off a point as it states it is lightweight, yet I can barely lift it. It is about 4 pounds or 1.5 kilograms. Also the stand not going more vertical than 45 degrees is disappointing. But overall, I love it. Would recommend.

Excellent, very well designed (and, hence, very practical) book stand
I received this book stand as a Christmas gift. It is designed very well. The storage space inside of it is plenty big for a rather large book. The number of possible viewing angles is very good. The stand opens up very easily and holds the book very well.In its folded position, the stand is compact. Also, when shut, the lid of the stand is held fast by a magnet, so when you carry the stand sideways, there is no danger that the lid will swing open and all the contents of the storage space will tumble out of it.The stand is lightweight, so it's easy to carry around if necessary. It is so convenient, that I use it every day for hands-free reading.

Perfect for readers of THICK books!
The holder is super sturdy, comfortable, and makes it much easier to keep a book open, especially a thick one. The angle makes viewing the book easier on the eyes and relieves the hands from holding a book open.Love the storage this holder provides! Will be keeping my readers journal, annotation tabs, highlighters, and pens inside. It's pretty light, and locks when you close it, having a handle for ease of carrying.

Everything I didn't know I needed
I have developed arthritis in my hands and holding books was becoming painful. I am an avid reader and needed something to assist in holding my books for me. I'm not huge on digital books but do have kindle books as well, but I enjoy the feel of a book and turning actual pages. This gadget is a game changer. I can relax and let it do the work. The pages still turn nicely and tuck under the holders perfect and there is no more strain on my hands. It's lightweight and comfortable in my lap and holds the larger books I tend to read which vary between 500-900 pages usually. I was worried about it hurting the binding on the books but it sits very nicely without any stress on the book. The holders for the pages are very firm and don't slip at all. The height adjusts to right where I want it. I'm loving it already and it's only my first night using it. I'm sure it will continue to be a very worthy investment.
