I bought this flex cable because I was doing a screen repair for my friend and unfortunately was not gentle enough. Broke the flex cable for the power/volume. This replacement fit PERFECTLY, the adhesive thats already pre-installed made installation easy and it works 100%.To the review saying it doesn't work you need to check the version number on the flex cable. There are different versions and you need to match the exact version number with the exact one off your phone. To anyone looking to order make sure the numbers match EXACTLY or it may not fit on your device.

Be very patient when applying or prying this off. I initially baught this to avoid removing and tearing from old broken phone. I affixed this new purchase to new screen & bracket (also purchased from Amazon) and after watching youtube video went ahead and removed it safely from old device. Now I have an extra one incase of future issues. I highly recommend searching parts if at all possible. Total repair cost were under 50$ as opposed to getting new phone or paying for repairs elsewhere, ( easily over $100 either way)....

Works but not the same as the original

Bought this because my son's phone wasn't working when using the power button, the problem corrected itself before this arrived but I am keeping it incase I do need to. If I don't have to take the phone apart again I don't want to! All you need is a YouTube video and they are easy to replace.

Bought for my nephew, worked great

Got done replacing a screen, installed buttons and only the volume down worked, so had to disasemble the phone again and use the original buttons from the broken phone.

When I fixed the screen. It wouldn't turn on. I figured I damaged the old sensor. So I relaxed with this on. Phone turn on perfect.
