Basically Alien part 2
There’s nothing here. Nothing new. Not one single idea you haven’t seen before in an Alien comic or movie. The plot is a variation on the original movie except with a load of characters being blue collar space types you can’t care about because they aren’t really anything other than “alien” sounding crew member names waiting to get picked off. It all takes place in a big industrial ship type place, aliens turn up and you know the rest because you have seen it before.

Very short, very confusing, very irritating
The story is pathetically thin and makes use of confusing jumps in the timeline which also make it impossible to follow. There is no resolution - it just ends. What I am supposed to take away from the final panels I do not know. I don't care much either, since the characters are paper thin and seem to be cut from the same cloth as the total morons that have inhabited the recent Ridley Scott films. I was glad when they died.

What Alien did to cinema, this is a perfect homage in the comic book medium.
Aliens: Dead Orbit is the perfect comic to get that claustrophobic feel the Ridley Scott film gave us decades ago.The artwork is glorious, the writing fits well for an Alien story and although not often seen, you can feel the presence of the xenomorphs in the pages themselves. Note this isn't a shoot fest like Aliens but the more survival aspect as seen in Alien and Alien: Isloation. It's a horror comic and one that does a excellent job with the scares and the framed narrative.Highly recommend it for Alien fans.

Fantastic art direction for fans of the Alien universe
This was a great surprise for me. A huge fan of aliens and this graphic novel really compliments the setting and story.

Very Good, but...
A very good comic, drawings are top notch and a nice addition to the Lore of the Aliens Universe.4/5 stars only because it gets really good and the just ends abruptly. Still worth picking up.

Masterful
Lines, lettering, and story all brilliant. Stellar work and captures the world so well. Love the end stuff as well showing what other comics might have been

Comic present on point
Fantastic presnent it went down a storm, the illustrations were beautiful brutal and gritty. Definitely had a sense of the original movie.
