Great Tent more than worth the asking price
Very happy with this small 1 man tent. Comes supplied with 3x fiberglass(?) poles that slide slide into the "bottom sheet" this quickly creates the base frame for the tent and is quick and intuitive to erect. The bottom sheet create an inner layer or soft shell to the tent with some parts having mesh 'windows' I assume to allow air to circulate and prevent condensation.Once the main poles have been inserted into this bottom sheet or the "top sheet" is thrown over the top and is secured in place by 4 clips on each corner. This provides the waterproof outer layer. I take a semi-educated guess that the layer of air between to the bottom and top sheets will have some thermal heat retainment properties but I am not scientist! The over all quality and build is great and I have used this twice out in the field (no pun!) once in quite heavy rain. Its strong, warm and durable. This is not a toy or a play tent its the real deal. Not sure its of "professional" standards but I am not looking to climb any mountains any time soon.

Great value
I'll admit I didn't have high hopes, but I was really chuffed with it once it was up.It went up in a fraction of the time I expected, first go.Surprisingly spacious. I'm quite big, and I'd probably fit my girlfriend in with me too.I was surprisingly well insulated even with the vents/windows open. I was cool in the hot day and it kept the chill out over the cold night. German engineering never ceases to amaze. The net layers/panels are of decent quality, as are the more opaque parts.I didn't wake up to dew all over the inside, which is a big thumbs up for a budget tent IMHO.I didn't really test how waterproof it is, but there was a bit of spitting and I was dry.If I was forced to pick a hole... the bag's a bit on the snug side. I had a little trouble getting it back in, but I was rushing, I didn't fold it up properly, and it still went in with a bit of wiggling anyway. It is a budget tent, don't get me wrong, but it's definitely the one that'll stay strapped to my rucksack. Even if I need to bring a bigger one for multiple people I'll probably set this one up just for myself as well.

Budget fairweather tent...
This Mil-Tech tent is probably the best quality one person design you're going to find in this price range. It's designed for summertime camping with a lot of mesh used in the inner lining. The camo pattern main material is very thin, but remains waterproof as long as it's taught enough not to touch the fly cover. The floor is also waterproof, but care does need to be taken not to puncture it because it's also very thin. The poles are glass fibre, indicative of a budget tent & they're prone to splitting, but aluminium poles only come with much more expensive tents. The outer vestibule section is too narrow for any size of rucksack, so only really suitable for storing boots. It's not really suitable for cold weather use as the inner space appears generous, but soon becomes exhausted by sleeping bags, coats, extra clothes, etc. Once these are in contact with the sides of the tent is when the rain & fog soon come seeping through. But, for occasional fairweather camping, it's probably the best budget tent available & is very lightweight...

Brilliant
I have used this tent in all weather. Snow, rain, and storms. Oh and heat not that we get much of this in the uk. All that being said it is a great product. It's been some time since I purchased this tent and I wanted to give the tent long term use before leaving a review. So that's what I did and the tent has not disappointed. Great tens with plenty of space ots a must buy.

Solid little tent
Bought one of these tents after watching the Wiltshire Man review on Youtube. It’s definitely quite stable and waterproof in wet and windy weather (maybe just a bit of condensation). A bit heavy although I guess that adds to the stability. The little vestibule area is good for putting wet boots and giving a bit of shelter to the inner part of the tent. I really like the stealth-camp design, chuck a camo-net over it and it really does blend in to the environment. Can be a bit difficult to put up in windy weather so probably best to practise putting it up in bad weather before taking it on a hike.

great for wild camping and works well without guy topes ...
have used this tent a couple of times now and works really well.I did spray it with additional water proofing and only moisture inside was due to condensation so last time I kept cover so slightly open.the one I had didn't have any issues regarding quality of stitching or any other damage.great for wild camping and works well without guy topes if like me you're lazy! Easy to put up and fairly lightweight. Would certainly recommended. So nearly four years later and I've had to add to the extra star. I've used this tent tens of times now and in all elements. I love this little tent and it never fails to amaze me what it withstands. All the poles still good and the tent itself has no rips or tears and is as good as the day I got it.its been through my washing machine a few times and a little abused but still it soldiers on. My most favourite tent ever and as I've seen other people mention I've not been sposered in anyway and gain nothing from this review other than to encourage people to get out and enjoy the countryside . I don't often rate products to be fair but this is a must.you will not regret!Still going... absolutely cracking little tent
