Q: Does this show the mah of the battery in the charger? i was told it does and the vc2 plus dosnt.

It shows how much the battery has been charged. When you pop a battery in it displays 0000 mAh, then 0001 mAh, etc. When the battery is done charging the display shows 0xxx mAh - FULL - 0xxx mAh - FULL switching between the two. You are correct that the VC2 Plus does not have the mAh reading. From a review for the VC2 Plus: "The only reason it only earned 4 stars is that it does not have a very useful feature that the plain old VC2 has, giving the mAh rating after charging a discharged battery. "

Q: Does this come with batteries if so what kind?

No it does not. Batteries must be purchased separately.

Q: Will this charge aa or aaa ?

This should not be used to charge NiMH or NiCd type batteries. Which is what most AA / AAA batteries are. They have a totally different charging method.
