I recently upgraded the OEM incandescent bulbs in my 1999 Silverado 1500 Z-71 to these LED turn signal bulbs, and the results have been fantastic. The LEDs fit perfectly into the front turn signal sockets and work flawlessly—installation was a breeze.One concern I had when switching to LEDs was the potential for hyper-flash. Thankfully, the built-in resistor on these bulbs effectively prevented any hyper-flashing, which was a huge relief. The lights blink at the correct speed, just like the OEM bulbs.For the rear turn signals, I opted for a different brand of LEDs, the iFunyLED 4PCS 3157 LED Bulbs. These are also available on Amazon, and I chose the red lights. I’m pleased to report that I didn’t experience any hyper-flash issues with them either. I tested the functionality with the headlights on, when the brake pedal was depressed, and even with the hazard lights flashing. Everything worked perfectly—no issues at all.I also used the red iFunyLED LEDs as replacements for the brake lights, and they’re performing great. This combination of front and rear LEDs is completely compatible and works seamlessly across all signals and lighting functions.Overall, I highly recommend these LED bulbs for anyone looking to upgrade their 1999 Silverado 1500 turn signals. They’re bright, energy-efficient, easy to install, and, most importantly, they eliminate the dreaded hyper-flash. A solid upgrade that I’m very pleased with!

Do you want your turn signals to be visible from space? Are you looking to make your car/truck look like a cartoon going down the road? Then these are the lights for you. I forgot I had these in my cart when I made an order and installed them on my 01 dodge neon since I had a front turn signal bulb blown. These boys here are brighter than my future and fit like a glove. No hyper flash which I absolutely cannot stand (I'm looking at you cheapo eBay led bulbs). Pretty sure these are brighter than my halogen headlights on the high setting but the low setting running light/marker light function isn't overpowering. Looking forward to running these for awhile to see if I get pulled over for "excessively bright turn signals that could potentially blind the sun"

Love these bright LEDs love the fact that they come with a little fan built-in resistor so there is no hyper flash

the product last less than 1 yr. I purchased the item way back in January 24, 2024.Product description says No Hyper Flash, yet ,in less than a year, this LED bulb is broken/hyper flashing just in time the 1 yr warranty will expire.

This is by far one of the best LED products out there. Now if you are wondering then why the 4 not 5 stars. That is because it didn’t last 1 year. This is my second pair because the first ones turn signal led went out. Halogen bulbs would have lasted at least 2 years minimum and would have cost less then 1/3rd the price. LED bulbs are supposed to last about 50k hours of life which would have been the remaining life of the vehicle. Then again being made in China has its advantages as well as disadvantages. So 4 star is a reasonable rating. It is a really great product though and I do recommend it.

These are very bright, that is for sure. BUT, they are NOT error free and while they do not hyperflash, they still give an error and when activating the blinker, the opposite lights come on at a low glow while the other flashes, but should remain unlit. I had to ultimately buy an LED relay from Custom LED to make them function properly.
